Sir, my problem this, what is jamia milla islima admisson exam syllabus for B.tech ?

Vikas Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019
Jamia Milia Islamia follows a common application process for all the courses. The application form can be filled by visiting the admission portal of JMI followed by fee submission through Credit/ Debit card or Net-Banking.A valid rank in JEE Main is the primary requirement to secure admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses. So the entrance exam is basically JEE-MAINS.So,the syllabus for JEE-MAIN should be known to every engineering aspirant otherwise you can google it.

Thanks.

Sir I have yearBack in BTech with CGP 6.5 ? My idea is Go to IITs for Mtech CSE?Any Problem in Admission and Mtech Placements? Please?

Navneetbajpai1999_5625736 Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

Hello

Hello,
If your question is having backlogs affects your placements, it is subject to the way you participate in the interview and your MTech performance. If you answer the questions during the interview like a pro, then fret not. You will definitely get a good job. If you don't have clarity about the subject and expecting a job in the world's topmost companies, then it is not fair to assume you are going to get a job there. If you are having backlogs then you should definitely be great during the interview.
Good Luck

What is The Affects Of Yearback (Btech)..In Mtech Placements? Please tell me what affects in Mtech placements. YearBack in BTech?

Siddhant Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019
There is no effect of a year back in BTECH during  MTECH placements.  The recruiters will only see your resume , your average marks in Mtech and will only look at your knowledge and skills and nothing else. The past is past , they see the present and how can you do well for them when they give you a job
. So don't be in a dilemma that it will have any impact on your Mtech  placements . If you have done any major and minor projects then it is well an good for you and for the company who will hire you .So all the best don't worry about it .

I got 76.8% in class 10th, 81% in class 12th and 73.1 in b.tech? which colleges i can expect if I score well in CAT exam ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Aug, 2019
Dear Tushar, as a Candidate belonging to OBC-NC, the sectional cut offs for various IIMs have been as follows:
                               QA             DLR            VARC       Overall
Ahmedabad        65               65                65                 70
Bangalore            70               70                70                 75
Calcutta               65               65                65                 70
Indore                  70               70                 70                 80
Lucknow              77               77                77                 82
Method of scoring differs from IIM to IIM.
IIM Bangalore:
CAT = 40
10th board = 20
12th board = 10
Bachelors = 20
Gender Diversity = 2
Work Experience = 8
The 40 points for CAT are derived from the performance in each of the three sections as follows:
Verbal & Reading Comprehension - 14 points
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning - 16 points Quantitative Aptitude - 10 points.
IIM Calcutta:
CAT 2019 Score 30
Personal Interview 48
Written Ability Test 10
Academic Diversity 04
Work Experience 08
Total 100
IIM Indore:
10th Standard: 36*[Z Candidate-Z min/Z max- Z min]
12th Standard: 40*[Z Candidate-Z min/Z max- Z min]
CAT 2019 score: 20*[Candidate's overall score /Highest CAT score]
Gender Diversity Factor: = 4 for female applicants
                                               =0 for other applicants
Composite score= sum of the above scores
IIM Lucknow:
Common Admission Test: 30
Academic Performance (12th + Graduation): 5+5
Diversity Factor (DF academics +DF gender): 5
Work Experience: 5
Writing Ability Test: 10
Personal Interview: 40
Final Score: 100

When you say scoring well, it should be nothing less than 90 percentile. . CAT exam is not something where in you are either declared PASS or FAIL. Its a measure of your performance among other applicants. Better the percentile, fairer the chance of getting into Top B schools. For example, if your score is 90 percentile, it means you did better than 90 percent of the Candidates who applied. Now cracking CAT and faring better than a certain percent of Candidates totally depends on how you prepare. To get into IIMs considering your OBC-NC Category and your Academic marks your CAT percentile should be nothing less than 95.

Can we change our clg after 1st yr in b.tech

NAVEEN MEENA Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

Dear aspirant, yes ofcourse you can change your college after 1st year in B.Tech. But you need to give fresh entrance exams after 1 year. Many students do this for IITs. They take admission in any college and persue B.Tech for one year, and after that they again give fresh entrance exams and take admissions in IITs.

All the best

Hope this helps

B tech mining distance course availabe or not?

sakshamselwal2000_9591011 Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

Hello Niraj,

Distance course is not available in any technical degree like B. Tech or MBBS. Courses like  B. Tech require practical knowledge so you have to attend the college regularly so you can not complete your B. Tech through distance in any college.

All The Best.

Priyanshu roy 12th Aug, 2019

Hii Rahul,

It depends on which place, state you want to take admissions in.Now all the normal admissions would be closed, but if you want to take admissions in any college than you have to go through the management quta of that college,so find out whether your choice college takes students through management quto or not.
