Yes you can apply for gate without passing certificate. There is a provision in GATE that you can give gate both after passing engineering or last year of degree course. You just need to apply your course completion certificate and if asked you may need to apply your last semester marksheet.

First of all there are no disadvantages although it is advisable that you should not change your stream in MTech but that dosent affect anything. You can always go for coding there are no restrictions and if your skills are good companies like Google,Microsoft would accept you anyway.

Also these companies dont only look for CSE Grads they look for other streams too. So go for it if you like that field, you know you can excel at it.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve both of the good colleges but if you were to take my opinion then I would suggest you to take admission in rvr jc as it is a better college than gmri not only in terms of placement but also on the basis of facilities.

G.L Bajaj has good placements. There is no good placement record in the bennett university as it had started two years back, but placements are expected to be  great in the next few years(2020_2022). There is a placement career management staff to take care of everything regarding placements. I hope placements will be very good in future.

Hello candidate. Rajkiya Engineering college is good in all the aspects. The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The college provides peaceful environment to study. The faculty here are well experienced. The campus life is good. You can have freedom in the college. No force from the faculty.
