How will final year students consider their marks before the completion of the B.tech course as Barc requires atleast 65% ???

Avinash Soni 3rd Aug, 2019

dear aspirant

in this mattter you should report this problem to the barc authorities as there is no fixed time of declaration of results in engg. colleges , some colleges declare it earlier and some take some time so it is purely dynamic and you should forward your case the authorities in concern

good luck !

I have been alloted a seat in 1st round of utu btech counseling but i am not interested in that course so how can i participate in 2nd roun

anask6281_9570919 Student Expert 3rd Aug, 2019

Hello Harsh,

No need to worry about that if you have alotted a seat in a college which you dont like in the first round then are left with 2 options,You can either cancel you seat by selecting reject option(or any other similar options) or you can select float option to keep that seat as a last choice and move forward. by selecting any of the options among the 2  you can move forward in round 2.you can always move to further rounds until you select freeze option.

hope this may help you.

I want to take admissionin btech in a good college with fee max 5 lakh for four years .....Plz suggest colleges in delhi, noida ,bangalore

sarthak goel 3rd Aug, 2019

Hello Manish,

Since you mentioned only one constraint i.e. of fee, I consider you are OK with some average colleges as well.

Therefore, there are several new set up colleges in the Delhi NCR region such as in Ghaziabad, region and Noida region which are under construction or are quite new, therefore you may consider those as they don't charge any fees due to their low reputation. Some of the colleges are:

  • JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida-1.2L per year
  • Priyadarshini College of Computer Sciences, Noida-75K per year
  • Amity Institute of Food Technology, Noida-1.7L per year
  • Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Noida-1.05L per year
  • Indraprastha Academy of Science & Engineering, Noida-10K per year
  • Sarvottam Institute of Technology and Management, Noida-92K per year
  • Mahatma Gandhi Mission College of Engineering & Technology-64K per year
  • RV College of Engineering, Bangalore-3.04L
  • MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Banglore-2.8L
  • MVJ College of Engineering, Banglore-1.19L per yearBMSCE College of Engineering, Banglore-88K per year
  • Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Banglore-2,80,000

All these are not the latest data, visit the respective college website to know the exact fee structure.

Hope this helps

No dear you will not loose any seat if you participate in another round. There is no rule regarding that. You can participate in DTE counselling as you want. There is no restriction. But,you will have to withdraw the seat when a new seat is alloted to you.You should have only one seat to start your engineering.

what other courses with B.tech should I do for ISRB (isro)

Papiya Mazumder 2nd Aug, 2019

Hello,

Its preffered that you first concentrate on your btech degree onlu and the better you score in your degree, the more chances you will have to join isro as you have to give exams for that and after that shortlisted cand. Will go for interview so during interview your marks will be seen and impression will be created which type of student you had been in past years.

Or you can choose your engineering branch according to the needs of isro which is-

If you want to join ISRO, then best branch in B.Tech to enter ISRO would be Aeronautical/Aerospace/Avionics Engineering or Engineering Physics. After B.Tech Engineering Physics, you can do Master of Science in Astrophysics and Astronomy or Cosmology. You may also try to join ISRO. If for some reason you are not successful, you must continue with Ph.D and try again.

Basically the eligibility criteria for isro is BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters for which results are available) or CGPA 6.84 on a ten scale.

So, whatevet you subjects you take in btech, you should mantain your cgpa and rather avoid many studies at one timr and instead focus in present.

For more details about isro, refer to-

Good luck
