  • 50% for General and EWS candidates

  • 45% for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD candidates https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCET/images/updated-public-notice-for-updated-list.pdf check this pdf for participating institutes.

These are the cutoff score thresholds required to qualify for the counselling process. However, actual admission cutoffs (that is, seat allocation scores) will depend on factors like exam performance, seat availability, and the specific university/program you apply to.

Shubham Jha 23rd Jun, 2025

Dear student,

With a score of 390.56 in NCET ITEP 2025 , you have a strong chance of getting into top B.Sc. B.Ed. colleges.

Your best option in Odisha is RIE Bhubaneswar , followed by Ravenshaw University and Utkal University , which may offer ITEP seats. You can also consider CTEs (Government Teacher Training Colleges) and nearby state universities.

Now, register for NCET counselling when it opens. Fill in top colleges as your preferences and keep checking the official NCET website for updates.

Maharaja purnachandra mohavidyalay bed admition

SEJAL JAIN 19th Jun, 2025

Hello

Maharaja Purnachandra Autonomous College in Baripada offers a 4-year Integrated B.A. B.Ed program that prepares students for a teaching career right after graduation.

Admission is generally based on a state-level entrance exam conducted by Odisha's education authorities, with merit lists prepared from exam scores and academic performance in Class 12.

The program combines subject learning with professional training in teaching methods, classroom management, and child psychology. It also includes practical school internships in later semesters. Admissions usually begin around May–June, and students should keep their certificates, mark sheets, and entrance admit cards ready.

Fees are affordable, especially for a government-aided institution, making it a good option for students interested in becoming educators.

Is there correct news sir that validation of bed certificate has been invalid from year 2015?

Previa Gayu 23rd Jun, 2025

There is no rule saying that BEd certificates have been invalid since 2015 However there was an issue in Rajasthan after a court ruled that for primary teaching posts only BTC or DElEd qualifications were valid and BEd holders were no longer eligible In contrast the BEd degree itself remains valid nationwide under NCTE rules and no notification has cancelled it since 2015 Some events like CTET certificates of BEd holders being flagged may be part of that confusion but they are limited to specific state cases not a general invalidation Therefore if you hold a recognized BEd degree it continues to be valid for teaching positions and cannot be dismissed as of 2015 If you need more clarity on a particular state rule I can help research that further
