hi I have less than 50% in graduation currently pursuing ecced and working as a early years teacher wanted to do bed .plz help

Poral Siddartha (siddu) 26th Jan, 2025

Hi,

Since you have less than 50% in your graduation but are currently pursuing ECCE and working as an early years teacher, here are some ways you can still pursue a B.Ed.:

1. Master's Degree: Consider completing a Master’s degree with at least 50% marks. This can make you eligible for B.Ed. programs.

2. Institutions with Relaxed Criteria: Some colleges, especially private ones, may have more flexible eligibility rules or recognize your teaching experience and ECCE background.

3. Specialized B.Ed. Programs: Explore B.Ed. programs focused on early childhood education, which may have different eligibility requirements.

Reach out to the institutions you’re interested in to check their criteria and options. Your experience in early education will definitely be a valuable asset. Best of luck!

can i do regular deled cource with. ignou +3?? after that, is there any chance to doing ignou bed?

Tanya Gupta 23rd Jan, 2025

Yes, you can pursue a regular D.El.Ed. course along with a graduation program (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) through IGNOU, provided you manage the workload and timing effectively, as D.El.Ed. is a full-time course. After completing both, you are eligible to apply for IGNOU B.Ed., provided you meet their criteria, which typically include a minimum of 50% marks in graduation and a teaching qualification like D.El.Ed. Additionally, having two years of teaching experience in a recognized school can enhance your eligibility for IGNOU B.Ed. Make sure to verify the latest guidelines from IGNOU and your state’s education board.

kumardurgesh1802 20th Jan, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, a 2-year B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is valid and widely recognized in India for teaching careers in schools. Here’s how it works:

Eligibility:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., etc.) with at least 50-55% marks (varies by college).

  • SC/ST/OBC candidates often get a relaxation of 5%.

    Scope:

  • Primary and Secondary Teaching : Qualify to teach in schools (government and private).

  • TET/CTET : Mandatory for government school teaching jobs.
  • PGT : Pursue M.Ed. for Post Graduate Teacher roles or higher qualifications.

    Government Job Eligibility:

  • Approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education), making it valid for teaching exams like TET, CTET, DSSSB, KVS, NVS , etc.

    Alternative Paths:

  • For graduates, B.El.Ed. (Bachelor of Elementary Education, 4 years) or Integrated B.Ed. courses are other options.

A 2-year B.Ed. degree is sufficient and works well for a teaching career!

i have completed my pg this year and this year itself i have taken the admission in bed now i want to apply for scholarship soo by applying scholarship i should apply for gap certificate or pg certificate

Prachi Kumari 28th Dec, 2024

Hello,

For applying for a scholarship, you should follow these points:

  1. Gap Certificate : Required if there's a break between your PG and B.Ed. admissions.
  2. PG Certificate : Essential if the scholarship requires proof of your completed PG degree.
  3. Scholarship Criteria : Check scholarship guidelines to determine if a gap certificate is needed, based on your transition between PG and B.Ed.
  4. Documents Needed : Usually, a gap certificate isn't needed unless there’s an extended gap between studies; focus on your latest academic certificates (PG and B.Ed. admission proof).

Hope it helps !
