Can Btech student is eligible for Bed course?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 26th Apr, 2020

Chandra, for being eligible for B.Ed, you should have completed your Graduation in any discipline. B.Tech is an Undergraduation course and so if you complete B.Tech as your Bachelor's degree, you can study B.Ed further. There is no issue with studying B.Tech and then opting for B.Ed.

i have become mentally and physically so lazy to study.i have habituated of wasting my time on phone. But Everynight I went to bed with worried thinking how should I start focussing on my book.i dont feel like to push myself anymore... I dont know how should I break this bad habbit

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Apr, 2020
Donah, acknowledging your weakness is one thing but not working enough towards eliminating is another thing. There are times when you feel lazy or disinterested in studies. But that phase should have a deadline and this cannot continue for too long. Initially start reading only for 1 hour a day for a week. Slowly increase the time by another hour the 2nd week. Keep increasing the no.of hours you have to study. Also if you are addicted to your phone, what you can may be do is watch videos pertaining to your subjects. That way you will learn your subjects. Having said all this, unless you make up your mind, nothing will work in your favour. Remember that the world has no place for under achievers. In this fast paced world, only people who have been good at their game will be remembered.

I am planning to pursue ba.bed. integrated course but after that i want to fight ias exam . so integrated course can create any problem in it .????

pdwords Student Expert 16th Apr, 2020
Hello,

As far as eligibility criteria goes for UPSC, pursuing BA-BEd will definitely make you eligible, it's not going to create any problems because in your graduation course you'll study combination of arts subjects along with education. There are many candidates belonging to engineering, medical, commerce etc background which goes against humanities oriented UPSC exam but they still
crack this exam,so what really matters is your planning and preparation, and it's good to have a back up plan, you can also pursue teaching ahead, gain some experience and afterwards can appear for UPSC.

MD Neshat Faizy 13th Apr, 2020
Hello Aspirant, After doing B.tech in ECE you can't do B.ED so you are not eligible for Government teacher Job as its qualifications is B.ed,but after doing M.tech + PHD you can apply in Professors Job in different Engineering College of your state.More over if you want to be a government teacher first do B.Sc/B.A/B.com from IGNO then do B.ed after that you are eligible for Government Teacher Jobs.
