i have 67% marks in class 10th boards! I am really confuse about my higher secondary examination I have Physics chemistry biology mathematics, and 2 languages Bengali & English! So can u tell me, almost how much percentage i need to have for admission in DU in any BA honours course
Hello Aspirant ,
Delhi University offers so many BA Honors course some of them have very high cutoffs like BA in economics honors while some of them have very low cutoffs like BA in Sanskrit Honors , also different courses use different subjects to calculate your class 12 percentage for cutoff for example for BA Political science honors if you don't have political science as a subject in your class 12 2.5 % will be deducted from your total percentage .
If you want a very good college with a very good branch 95% will be good enough for you but 90 % will get you a decent course , if you just want any course + college combination even 65 percent will get you BA Sankrit honors in Motilal Nehru college .

sir, please confirm me that is it really possible to write all gs papers including essay paper in regional language (like Bengali) and write his /her optional paper in English language. some of people says that it is not possible and I am very confused about this..... sir please give reply
Hello,
Hope you are doing well.
As per your query, it is not possible to write all the GS papers in Regional Language and write your Optional in English language.
The Candidates have the option to write their answers either in English or in any one of the Eighth Schedule languages except the Qualifying Language papers Paper-A and Paper-B, which they have indicated at the time of filling up of their online application form for the Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination.
Hope this clears your doubt. All the best!
Sir how can I control JEE preparation in English & Board in bengali ?
Believe me, it's a bit easier on you now. When I gave the Jee last year, Board marks were counted too for Mains. So, we had to manage between both the preparations compulsorily. Board marks, apart from the 75% eligibility has no direct impact on Jee Advanced.
So, I assume you wish to score great in Boards because you want a good, untainted academic record. Well, I managed to score 94% in Maharashtra State board in HSC. But that was not because of being regular in board studies, rather being regular with your Jee preparations. You can cover the board syllabus in last 2 months like I did, and come out with flying colours. And if you are preparing for Advanced, I would advise not to pay much attention on Boards for now.
I don’t know which board are you from, but if it’s CBSE, it’s a tad easy as you’ll anyway study Ncert for Mains. If you are from a State board, you still will have much ease on getting the concepts easily because of your Jee preparations. So don’t think about ‘managing’ boards for now, save that for later. Getting a wonderful AIR gives much more pleasure rather than scoring very high in Boards. Think of what matters in the long run, and prioritize accordingly. All the best!
