You should take Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering for getting oppurtunities at MPEB or BHEL, Bhopal. But remember you have to qualify exams like SSC, GATE etc to get jobs in PSUs like MPEB and BHEL. They don't do college placements.

since you have not mentioned your stream i assume it from EE or ME the vacancies in BHEL lies somewhere around 30 for ELECTRICAL and 20 in MECHANICAL
