Last year bhms closing rank of cetcell 15 % ayush quota for obc category

lakshya sharma 2nd Sep, 2025

Hello,

You want to know the closing rank for BHMS under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) via CET Cell Maharashtra for the OBC category from last year. Let’s clarify the information in a structured way:

  1. Difference between Qualifying Cutoff and Closing Rank

    • The qualifying NEET percentile for BHMS is 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. This is the minimum percent required to be eligible.

    • The closing rank refers to the All India Rank till which seats were allotted under counselling, such as the 15% AIQ managed by AACCC.

  2. Limited Public Data

    • Direct rank data for BHMS under the 15% AIQ OBC quota in Maharashtra is not publicly published by CET Cell.

    • However, for the state quota through the CET Cell, the PDF lists “First & Last Admitted” candidates, including OBC ranks, but it pertains to the state quota and private colleges, not the AIQ.

  3. Where to Find AIQ Closing Ranks (if available)

    • Usually, the AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee) or NTA publishes closing ranks for AIQ AYUSH seats. But this data for BHMS OBC is still not listed publicly in accessible sources.

  4. What You Can Do Now

    • Visit the official CET Cell Maharashtra website or portal for Ayush counselling to check if they release AIQ closing ranks for OBC.

    • For broader cut-off trends in AYUSH (including BHMS), refer to Careers360’s cutoff article, which shows percentile ranges for OBC (143–113 marks for AYUSH).

    • You may also reach out to CET Cell or AACCC support directly to request last year’s closing ranks under the 15% AIQ.

If 2024 closing rank for bhms was 5lakh SC category , can this yr I get cllg with same closing rank

sadafreen356 28th Aug, 2025

Last year cutoff is taken as to predict cutoff for the current year and almost every year there is margin of inflation of +20 marks with colleges but AIR with respect to college somewhat remained consistent because of the same number of seats present in the medical colleges but there also others factors which affect cutoff.

So you cannot predict that the same closing rank this year too rank can fluctuate so be prepared for mop up rounds to secure bhms seat.

Sir I got bhms gov cllg through UP ayush cpunciling if I leave this cllg afyer 1 yr and appear for next yr neet , and clear neet can I still be eligible for next yr mbbs counciling , will I be debarred from all india or just state level counciling ??

Prachi Kumari 25th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can appear for NEET again next year and take part in MBBS counselling .

If you leave BHMS after 1 year, you will not be debarred from NEET or MBBS counselling, either at All India level or State level. But you must formally leave the BHMS seat by resigning through the proper process, so that there is no issue of seat blocking.

So, if you qualify NEET next year, you will be fully eligible for MBBS counselling again.

Hope it helps !

Mera neet ka score hai 112 All india rank hai 1324209 EWS category Gen-Ews rank hai 110643 or mujhe BAMS / BHMS karna hai kya mera admission ho sakta hai kya is saal ....?

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 25th Aug, 2025

Your NEET 2025 score is 112 with an AIR ~13.24 lakh and EWS rank ~1.1 lakh.

  • Government BAMS/BHMS: Cut-offs for government seats are usually 350–420+, even for reserved categories. With 112, admission in government colleges is not possible.

  • Private BAMS/BHMS: Many private colleges (especially in UP, MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Karnataka) accept low scores through management quota or in later rounds.

  • EWS quota: Cut-off is still high, so no major benefit here at your score.

  • Government BAMS/BHMS → Not possible.

  • Private BAMS/BHMS → Possible through management quota/low cut-off colleges.

  • You need to follow both state counselling and direct college-level admission rounds.

Rank 153532, obc , state- up prayagraj vala govt bhms college mil jayega??

Nikita shahi 24th Aug, 2025

Hello,

With a rank of 1.53 lakh, it is quite difficult to get a government BHMS seat in Uttar Pradesh, even under OBC category. Govt. BHMS colleges in UP (like State Ayurvedic College Lucknow, Govt. Ayurvedic College Varanasi, etc.) usually close admission at much lower ranks. However, you may get a chance in private BHMS colleges in UP .

For a better idea you can use this tool: College predictor careers 360

Thank you and all the best!

Rank 153532, obc , state- up prayagraj vala govt bhms college mil jayega??

Ankur Mehta 24th Aug, 2025

Hey Anurag, With your UP state rank of 1,53,532 in BHMS and being in the OBC category, getting a seat in a government BHMS college in Prayagraj or any other UP government college is very unlikely. Usually, government BHMS colleges have cut-offs much higher, and your rank is beyond that range. However, you still have options in private BHMS colleges in UP or nearby states, where seats are available for OBC candidates with higher ranks. I suggest you check the counselling lists and previous year cut-offs carefully, and make a list of private colleges where you can apply. Keep your choices ready and be quick during the counselling rounds to increase your chances.
