Though you are doing Bhms your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology remains your 10+2

While, those who have passed 1st year of 3 year graduation with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

If you talk about the salary kind of perspectives, then I think you should go with BHMS as BHMS Doctor earns way higher salary than the BAMS. After post-graduation and practising Ayurvedic medicine, you can expect much better salaries . You can expect a package of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month after completing the BHMS course. So, I think you should go up with BHMS Course, as there is a high scope of future in BHMS than BAMS. So with regard to your query, to practice as doctor after completion of BHMS is not possible. In order to become as certified medical practitioner in BHMS field you need to do the MD course in Homeopathy again.

However, if you wish to become a government medical officer after completion of BHMS course, you can do it by writing the UPSC CMS exam. For this you need to secure 50% of the aggregate marks in your graduation. Also, many private institutes today enroll the younger students as medical assistants, but there is no possibility of becoming a doctor without completing MD course in Homeopathy field.
