Hii!
No, you will not face any problem while registering for NEET UG entrance exam because if biology being a optional subject, because your subject combination is considered as PCMB. The eligibility criteria for the exam states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 50% marks in PCB plus English as an aggregate, from a recognised board of education. So, just check how much you score excluding maths. If you Satisfy the criteria, you can apply for the exam.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hello, My Name Is Gaurav and i had just completed my 12th from Bihar Board. My Question is - In 2021 My Main subjects are maths and additional Biology, I got 40 in maths and 74 in Biology so now which one is taken as my main subject.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Mar, 2021

Hi

Irrespective of your marks obtained by you your additional subject will remain the same.

For example,

I know someone who had math as compulsory subject and Biology as an additional subject in class 12th , he got some 80 + marks in Biology but his marks in maths was some 60 + but additional subject still remained biology.

So,

Even if you have got more marks in your biology examination in comparison of your mark examination your biology will still remain as an additional subject.

Moreover,

You can refer to your Bihar board result i. e your marksheet the result clearly mentions the additional subject.

in case,

If you wanted to have Biology in the list of compulsory subjects and not as an additional subject to be eligible for Neet examination then I would like to tell you that even with Biology as an additional subject in your class 12th board examination you are eligible for Neet examination provided you fulfil rest of the criteria

Thankyou

In my bihar board 12th class Percentage is 69% can i eligible for jee main or advanced in 2022.please reply soon...

Subhrajit Mukherjee 26th Mar, 2021

As per NTA, you must have to score a minimum 75% marks in boards in order to be eligible for JEE MAINS. And as you aren't eligible for JEE MAINS, you aren't eligible for JEE ADVANCED.

Now its being waived for this session only but there is a good possibility that it will be again implicated in the next session. Let's see what happens.

sir agar mujhe bihar board 12th me maths se jyada marks biology me aata hai to biology wala marks total marks me add hoga???

Subhrajit Mukherjee 22nd Mar, 2021

The total marks you will get will be the best of 5. That means out off 6 subjects, the best marks you will get in 5 subjects will be accounted for total. So yeah! If you get the lowest marks in Mathematics compared to your other 5 subjects then it will slogged out of the total and the total will be made based on the best 5 subjects.

I hope this might help. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Sir I m Bihar board students plz tell us my main subject is math and my compulsory subject is biology sir please tell us what is rules about additional subject I think compulsory subject me jada marks aayega toh wo main subject Bana jayega without fail in main subjects

Sohamsengupta8 16th Mar, 2021

Hello STudent, The new revised rules of Bihar School Education Board is if any student fail in compulsory subject and get high marks in additional subject then the additional subjects marks will be counted. The candidates will   able to appear in the board 10th class examination to get an average pass mark.

Regarding yourself it may be said that if you get less marks and fail in biology and get high marks in your additional subject then additional subjects marks will be treated and counted for it and you will be able to get pass marks in average

Hope this helps.

mera jee main me 51% percentile aaya and 12th(bihar board) me 63% and mujhe CIVIL engineering krna hai so kya mujhe koi achha state government ka clg mil sakta hai ??? mera category GENERAL hai

Sowmya Konkala 3rd Apr, 2021

hello aspirant,

51 percentile  could fetch you a rank around 501270-563500.now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.based on your rank you have tough to no chances to fetch seat in government colleges like  nits, iiits.you need a minimum percentile of 96-98+ to fetch seat in good nits, iiits. try to fetch seat in private colleges or universities.or you can try the state btech colleges using jeemain percentile. you need better percentile to fetch seat.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

hope this helps,

thankyou.
