Hello there,
As per your query, I want to make a clarification that the basic difference between CBSE board and Bihar board is that the CBSE board is a central board whereas the Bihar board is a state board .
If you study in CBSE board, it will surely give a plus point. There is no major difference in the mode of study and study material. But, in many universities and colleges, the students from CBSE board are preferred over any other state boards.
Since, you want to become a journalist in future, studying in a CBSE board will give you some more advantages so you choose CBSE board over the Bihar board.
I hope you understood, thank you.
I believe the Direct Admission Policy is only for Toppers of respective Central or State Boards.
If you are a State Topper of Bihar Board you can apply under that scheme and you dont have to appear for BITSAT.
Otherwise you may require applying for the BITSAT Exam to secure admission in B.E. at any of the three campuses of BITS Pilani at Pilani, Goa or Hyderabad, subject to your score im BITSAT. However for further Counselling process, your aggregate score in PCM/PCB in XIIth board should be more than 75%.
According to current trends a score above 300/450 is considered safe for admission in one of the Standard branches across campuses, however cutoffs of many Courses like Civil Engineering or Integrated MSc. Dual Degree Courses in Chemistry or Biological Sciences, are as low as 260-280.

Hello Aspirant,
To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria but yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category. So if you are getting 67% in your boards then with General category you are not eligible for NITs.
On December 16th 2020 the application process for JEE-Main 2021 Feberuary attempt has been started by National Testing Agency (NTA) which is the conducting authority for JEE-Main 2021. You can apply for JEE-Main from the official portal of JEE-Main which is given below :-

Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.
A candidate will also have option to apply for one Session or more than one Session (February/ March /April /May 2021) together and pay exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one Session, he / she has to pay Examination Fee only for that Session during the current application period and will have opportunity to apply again for the March/ April / May Sessions.

Hello, This year the minimum eligibility criteria of 75% in board exam is relaxed and mere passing in the board exam is sufficient. Since you haven't mentioned your rank and category which is necessary to secure a seat in NITs, Here is the link of previous year cut off of NITs https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits
Do refer this article o admission in NITs for details

Best wishes.
Hello Dear,
Top 20 percentile of any board is calculated by marks scored in five subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Language subject. If any student has 2 language paper then higher marks scored subject will be taken for calculation in top 20 percentile.
Top 20 percentile of Bihar board for last year 2019 was
General Category - 346 OBC NCL Candidate - 347 SC category - 332 ST Category - 339
Good Luck
Dear student
As you have chosen biology as main stream subject then you will have to write exam of biology, chemistry , physics , English and Hindi. These are the compulsory paper you will have to write. You will have to give exam only when you will choose mathematics as additional subject during your registration form or otherwise if you don't choose any additional (optional) subject then you will not have to appear for that. So mathematics is not mandatory paper in biology paper unless you choose mathematics as additional paper. Between in English and Hindi you will have to choose for which subject you want to write 150 marks and 50 marks. There will be single language paper of 100 marks which you can choose as you want either English or Hindi. Second paper will be of 50 marks for each Eng and Hindi.
You can also choose the language of writing answer in your answersheet either English or Hindi as per your convenience.
So these all are the necessary information about your 12th Bihar board intermediate examination.
So don't worry you will not have to write mathematics exam unless you choose it as additional subject.
Hope this information helps you
All the best !
Hello candidate,
Since board examination are very important and can be attempted to only once in the life of an individual, so you are not allowed to give board exam from two different boards in two different streams at the same time.
If you have already appeared and passed from the CBSE Board examinations and still you want to appear for Bihar board, then you have to do re-admission yourself from class 11th onwards and have to scrap of your CBSE board papers to get admission again.
Thank You!!
