i have passed class 12th Last year 2023 and filled code 3 in neet application form for 2024 .. is it correct

Yes you have filled out the  correct code.

Those candidates who have passed their intermediate or pre Examination degree in science stream from any government recognized Indian  university must apply code 3.

There are 7 qualification codes applicable to neet ug exam 2024.


Code 1 is applicable to those students who are in class xii and waiting for the results.


Code 2 is for those students who have passed class xii from ICSE ( ncert books ). Those who are droppers and also Those who are reappearing for class xii must apply code 2. NIOS students also must use code 2.


Code 4 is applicable to those candidates who have completed any pre professional or pre medical Examination.


Code 5 is applicable to those candidates who have passed first year of bsc .


Code 6 is applicable to those students who have completed three years bachelor's degree in science.


Code 7 is applicable to those candidates who have passed any exam equivalent to intermediate exam with science stream.

Yes you will be eligible !

In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
