Which one is better and of more scope: B.sc microbiology or Bsc MBG(microbiology biochemistry genetics)? Just to know whether studying one subject in depth is better or having a blend of the three is of more scope?

Shivani sunil kakde 16th Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Both the fields have good opportunities, now it completely depends on your interest and what you want to do in future.

Microbiology deals with study and nature of microbes.Their tolerance and resistance towards drugs.Their mechanism of action.

Biochemistry deals with the chemical reactions happening in a biological system such as breakdown of food into simpler form, its digestion and further processing.

Both the fields have many related topics such as genetics, immunology but still there is a wide difference between the two field.

But both the field are good and has scope not just in India but also in aboard.

Thank you

Hope you got your answer.

which is better for BSc biochemistry/ zoology private universities or IGNOU ?

Aditya kumar singh 17th Oct, 2020
Hi,
Getting admission into a private college should be  a good choice than Open university as  private colleges offers the policy of regular admissions and classroom learning whereas in open university one can study through distance learning but classroom learning provides a good atmosphere and you can ask doubts regarding course with ease.
Hope it helps..

i get 200th rank in Pondicherry university entrance exam 2020 for the department biochemistry will i get an admission???

Sreeja Siva 5th Oct, 2020

Hi,

Admissions to the course depend upon number of seats available, number of candidates appeared and qualified, category etc. So an accurate prediction is not possible. For an open category chances are less. But this is not accurate as I told you earlier. It depends on number of vacancies.
