The choice of field depends on your interest. For NFAT exam, candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognised board. After cracking the exam, you can get admission to nfsu for forensic science course. You can know more about NFAT exam by clicking NFAT 2025 . There are various career options after b.sc forensic science like forensic Laboratory Analyst, crime scene investigators, forensic psychology, forensic scientist etc. To know more about forensic science course, college and career options ,you can check Forensic Science .
IAT exam is conducted by IISER for admission to various programs. To know about iat exam ,check IISER Aptitude test . To know more about b.sc bioinformatics, you can check Bioinformatics courses .
As both the exam are quite challenging and needs lot of your attention and time. So, instead of jumbling between the two, try to focus more on one that is your interest. You need to be sure about types of work you would like and work environment and kind of job roles to choose.
Admission in MSC bioinformatics program at an IIT is through the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM). JAM is a nationwide entrance exam that's held annually for admission to post-graduate science programs at various institutions in India.
You can also apply to IISERs and JNCASR Bangalore for Integrated PhD. Course through jam.
Other exams which are accepted for MSc bioinformatics are Gate, jee advanced and some universities like jnu accept CUET-PG or GAT-B score.
To excel in the JAM exam, you should have a strong understanding of the fundamental concepts in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.

Hello aspirant,
A new area of biological science called bioinformatics resulted from the fusion of information technology and biology. It is an interdisciplinary field of study that combines computer science, mathematics, chemistry, biology, and statistics to create a single subject. This industry mostly works with biological instruments to produce new software and analyze biological data.

Hy,
Bharati Vidyapeeth is a good choice for an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics program. It is a two year program. The candidate who wishes to take admission their should have passed B.Sc. Bachelor's degree in any discipline of science & technology with minimum 50% (45% in case of SC / ST) aggregate marks from any recognized university. You can apply for the course by directly going on their official website: https://www.bvuniversity.edu.in/pg-programmes/msc-bioinformatics
A course in bioinformatics gives you an all-encompassing study of multiple fields within one degree. It deals with the hand-in-hand learning and development of the fields of computer science, engineering, and statistics to process information dealing with biology. It uses such tools to make further advancements in biology as well as process and store data related to it.
Applications of computer science and engineering to medicine are part of the field of health informatics. The greatest solutions for utilising various technologies, resources, and techniques to obtain, store, retrieve, and use information in healthcare are offered by this discipline.
These both are different courses and both have good scope. I suggest you to choose the course that you yourself want because that will be in your best interest.
Hope this information helps you.
Hi dear candidate,
The choice between the two courses depends upon your own interests and strengths, if you are comfortable with data analysis/ medical report understandings and you are also IT friendly then MSc Bioinformatics can be your choice.
On the other hand, if you find food quality determination, quality control and food science interesting then, you can go for MSc Food Technology as it is more industry ready.
