for more detail you can use link below
how many hours does a marine biologist have to work in the lab and how many hours in the ocean
Hello,
Hope you are doing well,
Most marine biologists work regular hours in a laboratory, nine to 10 hours a day, 40 to 50 hours a week. They use electron microscopes, computers and other specialized equipment to study specimens. Many marine biologists also do fieldwork.
When in the field, days are usually longer. Typically 10–12 hours per day, 6–7 days per week, depending on the work.
Time on research ships is very precious, and very expensive, so those are typically the longest shifts. Working at sea, 12 hours is typically the absolute minimum, and in many cases it’s 14–16 hours per day. On one research trip, due to staffing shortages and technical difficulties, averaged 16–18 hours per day, 7 days per week, for 2.5 weeks
Hope this information helped you
Thank you

A marine biologist does not have a specific blueprint when it comes to education requirements besides a bachelor’s degree in a related science. Further education will act as a bonus and add more value to the biologist.
I wish to be a wildlife biologist but dont come form science stream in school and dont have a degree in the required field? Is it possible to re do college from the beginning or start with a diploma? Is this possible in US or UK or India?
Hello
To be a wildlife biologist candidate has to achieve 12 science with physics chemistry and biology and have a bachelor degree in biology. They have to acquire a a certificate from a wildlife society, non government organisation. There are different wildlife society in India. The name of some of the wildlife societies are :- Wildlife and Natural Environment Conservation Society, Kharagpur, paschim Medinipur, West Bengal,
Nature environment and wildlife society Kolkata
Nature environment and wildlife society Angul Odisha
Wildlife conservation society India (cwt office), Guwahati Assam. Mention wildlife societies are all non government organisation that means NGOs.
To be a wildlife biologist candidate has to gather not only the bachelor degree in biology aur MSC biology have higher degrees as PHD but also you have to get a certificate from wildlife societies in India. To Get a certificate candidate has to gather field experience of some years.

How do I become a wildlife biologist? I dont have a degree in the required field. If necessary, how can I get a degree?
Hello aspirant,
If you want to become a wildlife biologist, follow the tentative procedure,
First, you have to earn a bachelor's degree with a major like biology, ecology or zoology. You typically need three years to get this degree.
If you want to prepare yourself for a more advanced position in the field, consider a Master's Degree in Wildlife Biology. You can usually get this graduate degree in two to three years.
If you want to become an independent or academic researcher, earn a doctoral degree in wildlife biology, too. You need two to four years to complete a Ph.D.
To demonstrate your commitment to the field, consider earning a professional certification from The Wildlife Society. Getting an Associate Wildlife Biologist or Certified Wildlife Biologist credential may help you qualify for higher-paying positions, too.
Hope it helps you..
Best of luck..
I want to become a biologist so should I choose msc zoology or any other course after bsc zoology?
Hello,
BSC zoology is mainly including the animal kingdom, embryology etc. So if you are doing BSC in zoology it's great. After that you can do MSc which is masters degree of zoology. If you are not interested on it then other options are there.
You can study wildlife management, animal welfare, environmental science or veterinary science. So many options are present. You can expert biologist in this field. In now days wildlife management and animal welfare biologist demand very high. Now you have to think which course you want to study after completing your graduation.
All the best.
