Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management. The programme provides in-depth knowledge to students in all aspects of retail marketing, and core management areas such as Marketing Management, Financial Accounting, Quantitative Management, and Economics.

The institute has a strategic tie up with the Retail Association of India (RAI), Mumbai. On the job training is provided to students in order to enhance the student- industry interaction so that students can acquire the experience of a retail store working, which bridges the gap between academics and field learning. This also helps students to gain knowledge and experience in the functioning of a retail stores.

The JIMS hostel aims to provide a homely atmosphere away from home to the students. The rooms are spacious with windows opening to the balcony. Other hostel facilities include a common room and a dining hall. Apart from the solid infrastructure, it provides ample space for interaction and relationship building.

BIMTECH Placements 2022 witnessed 100% placement, where a total of 129 recruiters visited the University campus for the recruitment drive. Recruiters from various sectors like Consulting, BFSI, FMCG & FMCD, Sales & Marketing, Retail, Insurance, Automobiles, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Logistics, General Management, E-commerce & Human Resources have been participated in the placements drive.

420 students were placed during BIMTECH Summer Internship Placements 2022. They received an average stipend of Rs 18,000 per month, with the highest stipend being Rs 70,000 per month. Companies like Deloitte, Kayako, ITC Limited, JK Food, Axis Bank, Airtel, and others have been participated in the BIMTECH Summer Internship Placement 2022.

The average stipend offered to students during BIMTECH Summer Placements 2022 was INR 18,000 per month. The batch strength was 420 and all students received internship offers during BIIMTECH Summer Placements 2022.

During BIMTECH Placements 2021, students received offers from different sectors. Most (25%) offers were made by Banking & Financial Services among other sectors. Banking and Finance sector was closely followed by IT & ITES (22%), Insurance (14%), Manufacturing and Consultancy (7% each), Retail (5%), FMCG/FMCD (4%), and Others (10%).

Over 200 offers were made during BIMTECH Placements 2022. The highest number of offers were made by Infosys (58), followed by ICICI Bank (40), Reliance Retail (17), Wipro Ltd. (17), The Smart cube (14), SBI Card (14), Evalueserve (13), KPMG (12), Deloitte (12), and HDFC Ltd. (11).

As per the BIMTECH Placement Report 2022, a total of 129 recruiters visited the BIMTECH Greater Noida Campus for the recruitment drive. The average salary package offered to students during the BIMTECH Placements 2022 is Rs. 9.38 lakhs per annum.
