No there is no entrance exam for BITS Pilani Dubai campus. Given below is the admission criteria :

• For admission to any of the first degree programmes, Candidates must have passed the requisite Qualifying Examination, which is the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination of Ministry of Education, UAE or Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE-12th grade), New Delhi, India, or its equivalent from any recognized State, National or International board with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
• The candidates must have obtained a minimum 60% overall aggregate* of marks in the qualifying examination and must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects with at least 50% marks in each subject.
• Candidates who have completed their qualifying examination from Non-English medium must have secured a minimum TOEFL Score of 500 in paper based test or 61 in internet based test or have an IELTS Score of 5 or above

This time both gate score and bits hd exam score are considered for admission. To be on a safer side you need to score an aggregate of 60% in gate exam and 160+ in bits hd exam. However the cutoffs vary every year so you can have a look at the past trends as well.

I hope you are doing well. I am very sorry to say that if you are not attempted the first session of bitsat then you will also not allowed to attempt the second one. Yes , ofcourse it is very compulsory to write the bitsat session 1. Because as per the eligibility criteria , a candidate who has not applied for the bitsat session 1 will not be allowed to apply for session 2. So , sorry.

As per your query , see first you have to complete your class 12th if you want to get admission in bits pilany. As , the marks you obtained in your class 11th will not be matter in your admission. Your class 12th marks will be considered when you going for admission in every college or university. So , you have to complete your boards first. And if you want to join bits pilany as per your board marks so as per the rule bits pilany offers direct admission to first rank students of all the central and state boards to the programme of their choice , irrespective of their BITSAT score. So , you have to work more hard for this.

BITS Pilani does not provide intermediate degree programmes like B.Sc, B.Sc( Hons), B.A, B.A ( Hons) etc. It offers courses such as B.E( Hons), B. Pharm( Hons), M.Sc, M.Sc(tech). It also offers some of the higher degree courses like M.E, M.Pharm, M.Phil. O

In physics, BITS Pilani offers onlyM.Sc Phy and Ph.D phy only.

For admission in ME in very large scale integration design of circuit design in BITS Pilani cut off for the last year it was 690 as cutoff for admission. Generally the cutoff trends the last two previous years it was 650 to 700 of gate scoring. ME in VLSI is a  2 years postgraduate course under the domain of electronics Engineering for very large scale integration of circuit design. Total course is based on electronic Engineering. To take admission in this course in BITS Pilani every years cut off.is  changed . Very high scoring in GATE is acceptable for taking admission in this ME in VLSI in BITS Pilani.

Depending upon the number of applicants the GATE Score cut off for BITS varies and also depends on the fact how you choose your preference both campus wise and branch wise (for Electronics we have: Micro, Embedded, and Communication) usually PILANI campus cut off is a bit higher, during my counseling time in 2108 it was around 650–700 for BITS Goa, so you can expect higher for Pilani. Nonetheless, you can apply for the BITS HD paper as well since it can help you boost your preference for Campus/ Streamwise.

According to the placement information available on the official website of BITS Pilani, many companies visited the campus for recruitment such as: Evaluserve , Pharmaace Analytics, Bridgei2i, IQVIA, Futures First, Trinity, Viacom 18, Bain & Company, TCG and many more.

The average salary package offered by these companies varied between 5-7 LPA and the highest salary package was 14 LPA by Trinity.
