AMITY and VIT can be of same standards, that is of no doubts but there are many other factors which are to be considered which leads VIT ahead. The faculty members in VIT are better than AMITY in terms of experience and teaching standards. VIT takes a lot of money but VIT have very good infrastructure and the education experience you will have there will worth money. Also the placement rates can be equal for those but as per VIT's data, VIT have 91% placement rates. But if you comprehend the average package offered then obviously its higher that AMITY.

see the eligibility criteria for bits pilani higher degree program is candidates must secure a minimum of 60% for M.E. / M.Pharm and 55% for M.Phil in the qualifying Degree examination .

admission is based on gate/ gpat score or the score obtained in entrance test conducts by BITS pilani.

for admission to m.e course in software system or computer science your bachelors degree score should be 60% in aggregate or higher. every university has some rules regarding percentage conversion. you need to calculate your score as per university norms.

VIT college is quite good due to the placement opportunities.So VITEEE is good and you can apply for that.It is the engineering entrance examination for VIT college which is among the top renowned colleges in India.The placement rate is quite high above in 95 percent in all branches expect for CS and IT where there is 100 percent placement this year.Big companies like TCS,Wipro,Accenture comes here for placement.Package varies around 6-12 LPA and more.So overall if you can get VIT just go for it.

When it comes to scholarships offered by BITS, there is no specific form to apply for and it will on the basis of your marks scored in the exam or in qualifying exam.

Students who have obtained 95% or above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination are given a merit scholarship of 40% of first semester tuition fee.

Students who have obtained 90% or above but less than 95% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination are given a merit scholarship of 25% of the first semester tuition fee

Students who have obtained 80% or above but less than 90% in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination are given a merit scholarship of 15% of the first semester tuition fee.

I would suggest Mtech at Bits Hyderabad would be a great choice as IIT Jammu is still in developing stage.

At BITS you will find an exposure to all the current technologies and the environment there is exquisite. It will not only help you academically but also professionally.
