No doubt VIT is a good college, nit only in terms of placement but also in the lifestyle and freedom. If you are getting CSE in VIT or IT in VIT Vellore, I would suggest you to join (if fee is in your budget). Other than this, you can try Thapar College, Delhi Technical University, Punjab Engineering College, RV College of Engineering, Amity University( a bit expensive), UPES (if you get scholarship, otherwise it is also expensive).
These all above mentioned colleges are counted as the top reputed engineering colleges of India and mode of admission varies depending on the college.

the last dates to apply for BITS HD which is the examination conducted for seeking admission for the MPharma program has been extended till the 30th of June 2021. Candidates interested in appearing for the examination are required to register for the same by June 30th 2021. The examination dates have been postponed until further notice.

As per the BITS Pilani Fee structure, candidates will have to pay Rs 39,800 as admission fee and Rs 1,78,000 for Semester 1 and 2. The fee for 2nd year is 1,94,000, for 3rd year is 2,11,500 and Rs 2,30,500 for 4th year. Approximately, there is a 10% fee increase after every year. This is just the tuition fees. Hostel and Mess charges are not included in this.

The official statement issued by BITS says that, " The candidate who secured first rank (Board topper) in PCM or PCB in their respective board can apply for direct admission." and a syou mentioned that by considering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics you become the state board (Tamilnadu Board) topper. The college environment and infrastructure facilities are also good in this college. To get Computer Science Engineering branch in BITS Pilani you must get above 385 score in BITSAT exam.

Dear candidate, average package of ECE or EEE in BITS Hyderabad is around 13 lakhs, BITS Goa 15 lakhs and in Pilani its around 18 lakhs. It is definitely worth it. BITS is one of the premier academic engineering institutes of India. It is better than many IITs, NITs in terms of placement, infrastructure, facilities, ranking, etc.
