Hi! I want to ask that I scored less than 75 percent in 12th boards in AMU and I will give improvement next year in June. So will I be eligible for Jee Advanced for next year? And what will I have to write in my percentage section in jee mains form "Awaited" or my "current percentage"?

Abhishek 24th Jul, 2024

Hi folk,

Hope you are doing great.

Yes you can obviously give the jee advanced next year after giving the improvement this  year and then scoring above the required percentage necessary to take part in the examination.

Giving an improvement exam will help you in preparing for the jee examination as well and also make you prepared for the entrance test so that you can perform well and achieve a good rank in it.

You can further know more about the rules and the regulations regarding the exam and the counselling and then have a good idea of how to prepare for the examination.

Hope this resolves all your query.

Hi, I am studying in 12grade in IB curriculum. I dont have Physics as part of my curriculum, but I have Checmistry, Biology, and Math. If I give Physics AP exam and pass it with >50%, would I be eligible to appear for NEET? Thanks!

mjaisinghani62 26th Apr, 2024

Hello dear student

You can appear for neet if you pass out physics , there will be no problem if you get less than 50 marks in physics provided you must have more than 50 marks in chemistry and biology .

The total marks of three subjects physics + chemistry + biology should make 150 .

It can be explained here : suppose you are getting 40 marks in physics,  then you must have 10 more marks in chemistry or  biology OR 5 extra marks in chemistry and 5 in biology so if you have 40 marks in physics , minimum 60 marks in biology and 50 in chemistry,  then also you are eligible.

The eligibility to appear in Neet

The candidate must have passed class xii with minimum 50 % marks with physics, chemistry and biology from any reputed university.

i am 12th i have written questions numbers inside the margin in board exam do they cut marks for that

Tanya Gupta 13th Mar, 2024

Hello,

In board exams, it's generally advised not to write anything other than the answers within the answer booklet. Writing question numbers inside the margin may be considered as wrong and could potentially distract the examiner or affect the presentation of your answers.

However,  examiners may ignore such minor infractions, especially if the answers are clear and well-presented.

Hope this helps,

Thank you

can i give board exam if my hall ticket birth date is wrong? and can i change my birth date while giving exams like after completing first paper i will go to school to change the information?

Nitin Kumar 23rd May, 2024

It's important to address the wrong birth date on your hall ticket before the exam.  In some cases, a mismatch between your date of birth on the hall ticket and your ID proof could lead to disqualification from the exam. Having the correct information avoids unnecessary hassle and delays during the exam.

Don't wait until the exam day. Reach out to the exam board or school administration that issued the hall ticket as soon as possible. Explain the mistake and inquire about the process for rectification.

The exam board or school will likely have a procedure for correcting mistakes on hall tickets. This might involve submitting a written request with documents as proof of your correct date of birth.

I hope it helps!
