If I give my JEE Main & Adv 2024 (with 12th by CBSE), then if I pursue 12th Board through NIOS in 2025 will I be able to get all attempts of JEE again (ie. 3 attempts of Main & 2 attempts of Adv) ??

Satvik 15th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

Yes, if you pursue your 12th board through NIOS in 2025 after attempting JEE Main and Advanced in 2024 , you will be eligible to attempt the JEE Main and Advanced exams again.

Attempts for JEE Main:

  • As per the current rules, candidates can attempt JEE Main a total of three times in consecutive years.
  • Since you attempt JEE Main in 2024 , you can attempt it again in 2025 and 2026.

Attempts for JEE Advanced:

  • Candidates are allowed to take JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
  • You can take JEE Advanced in 2024 and, if you qualify, you will still be eligible to take it again in 2025 .

Pursuing your 12th from NIOS in 2025 will not affect your eligibility for JEE Main or Advanced, provided you fulfill the eligibility criteria:

  • You must have completed your 12th board exams or its equivalent with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) before the exam date.
  • Ensure that you meet the minimum percentage criteria as specified by NTA and IITs for JEE Advanced.

So, If you take JEE Main and Advanced in 2024 and later complete your 12th through NIOS in 2025 , you will still be eligible for the full number of attempts:

  • 3 attempts for JEE Main (2024, 2025, 2026).
  • 2 attempts for JEE Advanced (2024, 2025).

Hope you find this information usefull

Best Wishes.

how much percentile in JEE main 2024 is required tamil medium state board students for nit trichy for obc

Satvik 15th Oct, 2024

Hi

hope you doing well

Based on previous years' cutoffs, to secure admission in NIT Trichy for the OBC category, Tamil medium state board students will need to aim for a competitive JEE Main percentile. Here's an overview:

General Trends:

The cutoff percentile for NIT Trichy varies each year depending on various factors, including the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exam. However, based on past data:

  • For OBC candidates , a percentile range of around 90-95 is generally required to secure a seat in NIT Trichy, especially for popular branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).

Some Specific Branch Cutoff's:

  • Computer Science and Engineering (CSE):
Usually, the cutoff percentile is around 93-95+ for OBC candidates.

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE):
Generally falls in the range of 90-93+ .

  • Other Engineering Branches:
Cutoffs for branches like Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering might be slightly lower, around 85-90+ .

To increase your chances of getting into NIT Trichy under the OBC category , aim for a JEE Main percentile of at least 90-95.

Hope this info will help you

Best Wishes.

can we use color pens in the board exams ( Telangana board )? whoch color pens we should use

Sajal Trivedi 14th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant,

The only permitted ink colours are black (or blue, whichever is preferred). They should draw headings or headers and highlight or bold items in their responses using a black pen. Students typically use blue-colored ink pens, which are intended to promote uniformity.

Thank you
