Piyush kesarwani 22nd Apr, 2022

Hello aspirant,

I would like to tell you that YES, you can study class 11th and class 12th again, but you can not study from the same Board from which you have passed class 11th and 12th. You have to take admission from a different board to study again class 11th and class 12th.

You can Simply apply in that board's +2 with your class 10th marksheet. Although you can go for improvement exams from your previous board.

Further, since you;'re a NEET aspirant, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more regarding the exam :

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-2022

For NEET ug 2022 eligibility criteria for 12th board is 50% in PCB.My question is that 50% required in physics, chemistry and Biology is individually or combined in PCB?I got in my 12th board phy- 41,Chem -49 and Bio - 62 my total 152/300.Is I am eligible for NEET ug 2022 or not ? Plz explain ..?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 22nd Apr, 2022

Hi

You need 50 % in aggregate i. e total of PCB and not individually in each of PCB

Yes, you are eligible for neet examination.

This is because,

To be eligible for neet, you need to pass  12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Now,

Considering your category as general,

Your aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  is

=    41 +     49 +    62

=    152 marks

=( 152/  300  x  100 )%

= 50.6 % i. e more than 50% so you are definitely eligible  for neet examination  .

Also,

----------------------------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-No upper age limit is there.

------------------------------) There's no attempt limit for neet.

how much score need for government seat? neet score or board which score matter?

Karishma Sawhney 1st Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

According to the previous year cut off's, a general category student must score 650+ to get a government seat in medical colleges. The same goes for OBC/EWS candidates. Marks differ only by 3-4 marks. An SC candidate must score 570+ to get a government seat whereas an ST category student can get a government seat for as low as 400 marks.

To get a government seat in medical colleges, your NEET score matters and not your board marks. You only need to pass board exams in order to qualify for NEET.

You can check out the NEET eligibility criteria and other details through the given link- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

Hope it helps!

Online Education was new to me and I couldnt grasp that concept and didnt study properly for my 12th State board this year, and as a result my exam went very bad. Im expecting 35-40%, no more than that,Is there anything I can do? Should I repeat 12th? Improvement Exam? Im a science student.

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 22nd Apr, 2022

Hi Aspirant!

You can apply for improvement and for same you can either approach to your school managemet or to the state board via website. Also, I would suugest you to first wait for the result and then take any decision.

Also, you can repeat the 12th from the NIOS (National Institite of Open Schooling) or by the same state board which you studied earlier.  NIOS results are acceptable all over India as other state/national/private boards.

To know more, about NIOS, visit here:

In NEET ug 2022 12th board (HSC) marks required in physics, chemistry and Biology is individually 50% Or taken together in PCB ? Please explain me in detail I am really very confused ?

Piyush kesarwani 21st Apr, 2022

hello aspirant,

The 50% marks in PCb is the Aggregate( means taken together) marks that you need to achieve in order to be eligible in NEET UG examination. One should pass physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, english individually in qualifying exam and should have at least 50% aggregate in PCB.

Further, the Eligibility criteria for NEET UG exam is given as follows :

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

  • Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.

  • The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

    • UR - 50%,

    • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

    • PWD - 45%

Further, if yuou wish to know more regarding the NEET UG eligibility Criteria then you should follow the below mentioned link to know more :

My GSEB board percentile is 96.59 and my gujcet percentile is 95.56. Can i get admission in DA-IICT or DDU in general category?

Subhalaxmi Biswal 30th May, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Dharmsinh Desai University publishes the cutoff after the announcement of the GUJCET outcome, administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. Candidates meeting the Dharmsinh Desai University cutoff are competent for the counselling procedure for B.Tech admission. The university publishes a cutoff for several category aspirants.

Cutoff for B.Tech Program (GIA), GUJCET, 2021 (General Category)

B.Tech Chemical Engineering

  2. 73.01 - score

B.Tech Computer Engineering

  1. 305 - rank
  2. 98.98 - score

B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

  1. 3509 - rank
  2. 91.1 - score

B.Tech Instrumentation and Control Enginscorg

  1. 9951 - rank
  2. 74.96 - score

Cutoff for B.Tech Programme (SFI), GUJCET, 2021 (General Category)

Most of the branches except computer engineering have cut off less than your GUJCET score.

DAIICT has 50% seats under Gujarat Quota and the rest are under the All India Quota. If you prefer to obtain entry on the ground of GUJCET and Gujarat Board, you are excepted to be in the prime 300- 400 individuals on the merit list for General Category. With your board percentage, a 110+ total in GUJCET is expected to ensure your admission based on last year's cut off score. The cut-off for DAIICT is a 110+ score in GUJCET. Getting admission to DAIICT might be difficult.

All the best.

I hope it helps.
