piyush263001 23rd Jul, 2022

Hello,

-------- As far as the 75% rule is concerned, the 75% rule states that candidate must have scored an aggregate of 75% in Class XII Board Examination.

------ Also the candidate must have 5 subjects  that must be - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, 1 Language ( English - in your case) and 1 more subject.

----- In your case the 5th subject can be any one between Information Practices and Physical Education.

----- Since with Physical Education as 5th Subject your class XIIth aggregate is more than 75%, you are eligible for JEE Mains 2023 Examination.

******* For complete details about the JEE Mains Examination, Eligibility criteria, paper pattern, syllabus and other very important details kindly check the link given below -

is there any one who has cracked neet despite of poor marks in class 12 board

Shivanshu 22nd Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant!

Hope you are doing well! It is my suggestion to you to not search such person ,my suggestion is that make yourself that person so that we can search you that even after getting poor marks you crack jee .Be motivated and confident. And for your kind information ,12 th class marks don't decide your rank and percentile in neet . Be the example for the world . an average student can certainly crack NEET with the highest scores , provided he/she is dedicated, invested in smart techniques and consistent with preparation strategy.

my board percentage is 63 and my jeemains percentile is 79 is there any possibility that i can get admission in nit?

Vibhu P 22nd Jul, 2022

Dear student, as far as board percentage is concerned, the mininmum eligibility criteria has been waived for this year, so that won't be an issue.

However at 79 percentile in JEE Mains, you CRL rank comes around 214830 - 241500 , which makes it very tough to secure a core branch at a NIT. Use the rank predictor tool:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

However you may try applying for the CSAB counselling in your home state quota for the left out seats, that again comes with a risk as there is no guarantee of a seat at your rank. Also you haven't specified your category and home state, with which I would have been able to provide more specified detail for your question. You may try using the college predictor to find out the best colleges at your rank:

Hope it helps you, feel free to ask any query, thanks!
