What will be my rank if I score 280+ in board and 70-75. in kcet of PCM

Anurag Khanna 24th Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to predict your exact rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon certain factors such as number of candidates appearing for the examination, top score of that particular year and so on.

However based on previous year's analysis, as per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank in KCET 2022 is expected to be in the range of 5500-6000.

But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

I have 59%in 12th boards can I get addmission in West Bengal with this percentage... & i have got 34k rank in webjee... Please reply?

Shreya Mukherjee 2nd Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Unfortunately in case of class 12 results, the eligibilty criteria is  :

  • Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in all three subjects (55% marks for reserved category students)
  • 30% marks in English for all categories.

Even though you have 34k rank in WBJEE, since you donot satisfy the percentage criteria, you can face issues regarding admission.

Hope this helps!

Harshita 23rd Jun, 2022

hello Rohan.

You might a rank around 5501 - 6000. But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of the previous year's data.

As the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as

#number of candidates who appeared for the examination.
#Top score for that particular year.
#Total number of seats available.

But still, don't lose hope, and best of luck.

If I repeat my class 12th again from NIOS Board then will I be eligible for Jee Mains + Advanced Next Year ??? (I have already appeared in Jee Mains twice but never appeared in Jee Advanced even after qualifying)

Vishwathiga J 23rd Jun, 2022

Dear aspirant,

JEE advanced allows only one repeat exam. So, evethough you haven't written JEE Advanced already, you won't be eligible to write the exam next year. Yet, you can write JEE Mains again. The year you passed class 12 for the first time is considered as the first attempt and the next year is the second attempt.

Hope this helps.

can i get sastra if I get 94%in board

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 23rd Jun, 2022

Dear,

There’s nothing like minimum mark in JEE for admission in SASTRA under stream 1. Applicants under stream 1 will be admitted to 70% of the seats based on JEE (Main) scores and normalized +2 marks. The weightage for JEE Main scores and +2 marks will be 25% & 75% respectively. The aggregate JEE Main score and normalized +2 aggregate will be taken together as per the weightage and applicants will be ranked based on the resultant combined score.

For example: If a student secures a JEE Main Score of 185 and normalized +2 aggregate is 95%, the combined score of the student will be (0.25*185) + (0.75*95) = 117.5

The combined score of all students will be used to determine the SASTRA Rank and admission will be based on the SASTRA Rank secured.

Hope this helps!
