The UGC NET exam pattern is set up by NTA and released in the detailed notification of the NET exam. In Paper-1 and Paper-2, a total of 50 questions and 100 questions are asked respectively; each carrying 2 marks.

For English: Objective General English, S.P. Bakshi; Word Power Made Easy, Norman Lewis, helps you to enhance your skills in the subject for CLAT. Also, read Hindu newspaper and learn vocabulary from it, it really helps you in the exam.
For, General Knowledge: Just refer News Paper, and some daily news analyzing channels like, Study IQ, Finology Legal, etc., and just read some basic general knowledge information from, history, geography, and constitutional aspects.
For, Legal Aptitude: Taxmann book is an excellent one. To know the provisions and for its application into cases. Also, A. P. Bharadwaj book also stands at its best for legal aptitude.
For, Logical Reasoning: R. S. Agarwal is more than enough.
