B.Optom is bachelor of optometry .

For admission to this B .optometry course you will have to appear for entrance exam . Entrance exams are - TJEE , CUET ,KCET ,GUJCET ,GITAM GAT and IUET .

Eligibility criteria for the course is that you must have passed class xii in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology with minimum 50% marks .

After qualifying the entrance test you will be eligible for getting a seat for bachelor of optometry.

Optometry is a medical program that focuses on the regular  vision care of thd patient while prescribing contact lens and glasses.

Course fees - 10,000 to 2 lakh

Duration- 4 years

Average salary- 4, to 5 lpa

Job opportunities-  A bachelor of optometry can open his own optometry shop or center.

EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University,Hyderabad.The entrance exam is conducted for admission to emgineering and medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh.One cannot take admissions in B.Arch through EAMCET exam.
