How many times a cell undergoes mitosis to produce 128 daughter cells? a.7 b.14 c.16 d.32

LALBEE 26th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. To create 128 cells, the cell must divide mitotically 7 times. The formula 2n, where n is the number of divisions per cell, determines how many times a cell must divide mitotically. One cell divides into two during mitosis, and both daughter cells have the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell. 8. The mitosis formula is (2n 2) / 2.

Am i eligible to apply for MSc Marine Biology after BSc Biology? I am not talking about zoology or botany but biology.plz help

Sayan 16th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Candidate should be aware of the prerequisites needed in this field of study in order to get admission in this advanced course:

  • The entrance exam's minimum necessary percentile should be between 55% and 60%.
  • A bachelor's degree in the same discipline, such as marine biology, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, fisheries, or aquaculture, is required to apply to a master's programme.

So,as per your query, Bsc biology will not eligible. It requires Bsc Botany or Zoology specifically,

Thank you

During bsc or after Bsc from botany zoology chemistry which subjects I have to focused If I want to become an IAS officer??!!

Sayan 12th Aug, 2022

Hello,

For the IAS exam, you can enroll in any bachelor's course. It would be great if you figured this out and solely pursued your bachelor's in this discipline as you are already clear that you want to choose Botany/Zoology as optional studies. The optional subjects are crucial to the IAS exam. Even if you are uncertain about this, you should choose B.SC (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry). Because you would be able to study both botany and zoology in this, and you could also choose an optional subject at the end.

can I take botany and chemistry and other optional subjects

shivamtrivedi0005 5th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant

The fact is, everything depends on you. Do keep the following factors in mind when making your choice.

  • your passion
  • learning capacity
  • devoted study time
  • easy to understand, in your opinion

I claimed that chemistry is somewhat logical and that botany and zoology take more knowledge, but if you compare the two, I believe zoology is easier because it covers themes like physiology, which we can all connect to.

Thanks

Dear Student,

Let’s discuss about the Career Possibilities and Employment Prospects-

A candidate with a bachelor's degree in botany can anticipate joining the field by working as a technician, while a candidate with a master's degree can anticipate joining reputable research teams or working with some of the biggest names in the field.

Students can select their areas of specialty in Botany based on their preferences, abilities, and interests because of the field's diversity. Considering the level of diversity this profession offers, there is a sizable opportunity to join it.

Plant explorers, conservationists, ecologists, environment consultants, horticulturists, plant biochemists, nursery managers, geneticists, molecular biologists, taxonomists, plant pathologists, environmental consultants, and farming consultants can all be employed by reputable organisations.

Additionally, the use of plant sciences increases the supply and yield of meals, textiles, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, and other plant-based goods. For the development and administration of forests, parks, wastelands, sea resources, etc., knowledge of plant sciences is crucial.

Few of the industries which one can work with are:
