Hii,
You have a lot of options after earning a bachelor's degree in botany! To learn more and land a better job, you can pursue a Master's (MSc) in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, or Botany. Try getting a PhD if you enjoy doing research. To become a teacher, you can also pursue a BEd.
For employment, research government examinations for positions such as lab technician or forest officer. Short courses in data analysis, agriculture, or horticulture can also be beneficial. Pick your passion: fieldwork, teaching, or research!
Students pursuing a B.Sc. in Botany have numerous career options with the government. They can manage forests and wildlife in the Forest Department as rangers or forest officers. Enhancing crop production is the focus of jobs in agriculture departments. As junior scientists, they can join research institutes or botanical surveys.
After completing additional coursework, another option is to teach in government schools or colleges. Tests such as the UPSC IFS, SSC, or state PSC facilitate entry into these positions. Certain jobs require additional training or exams.
Dear aspirant,
There are plenty of private colleges which offer MSc in Botany. Such as -
With 45 marks in CUET PG it will be verydifficult to get admission in MSc Botany in central or top universities. Most good universities like Delhi University BHU, or Central University of Punjab usually require at least 150 to 200 marks for MSc Botany, especially in the general category Even for reserved categories the cut-offstays much higher than 45 Your score is far below the expected cut-off so chances are very low in such universities. However, some private colleges or smaller state universities might offer admission with low CUET scores or even give direct admission based on graduation marks. You can also look for colleges where entrance is not compulsory and admission is based on merit. If MSc Botany is your main goal, preparing again for cuet and improving your score would give you a better chance next year. Right now with 45 marks, only a few options may be open, so check colleges individually where direct admission is allowed.

Hello,
If you fail in Physics but pass all other subjects, you may still get admission in BSc Botany , but it depends on the college or university rules .
Most colleges ask for a pass in all major science subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and sometimes Physics too. But since Botany is related more to Biology and Chemistry, some colleges may not count Physics as compulsory .
So, it is better to check the specific college's eligibility criteria before applying.
Hope it helps !
A B.Sc. Botany degree typically covers plant biology, ecology, genetics, and environmental science.
