Is bpharma a good course ? Like I was thinking of clinical research associate after bpharma course. I dont have any knowledge regarding this. So it will be Remy helpful for me if I get some genuine response.

Afreen 26th Jul, 2025

If your goal is to become a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), a B.Pharm is a highly relevant degree and a good stepping stone.

Many Clinical Research Associate positions require a bachelor's degree in a life science, such as Pharmacy, Nursing, or Biosciences.

Your B.Pharm coursework will provide you with a good understanding of pharmacology, drug development, and the regulatory aspects of pharmaceuticals, which are essential for clinical research.

To further enhance your chances of becoming a CRA, pursuing additional training or certification in clinical research, like a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research (PGDCR), is highly recommended. These courses focus on industry-specific skills like clinical trial management, regulatory compliance (including ICH-GCP guidelines), and data analysis,.

Good luck!!

Hello sir/madam, I am currently in 12th standard and want to pursue my Bstat from ISI can I do so and if yes then what do I need to do step by step? Or sir, please suggest me any other college other than ISI (as it is very much tough to get a chance in it for me.)

Vaishak V Prabhu 26th Jul, 2020

Here are the details of eligibility and selection procedure for Bstat from ISI

Eligibility In order to be eligible for admission to this programme, an applicant must have successfully completed 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education (or its equivalent) with Mathematics and English as subjects.

Selection Procedure All applicants for this programme, except the INMO AWARDEES (see next paragraph), will have to appear for two written tests comprising multiple-choice type and descriptive questions in Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Based on performance in the written tests, a number of candidates will be called for interviews.

The written test is waived for applicants who have been selected as INMO AWARDEES to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) in the current year or in any previous year, based on their performance in the Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO) conducted by the National Board of Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Such candidates will be directly called for interviews. However, like all other candidates, such candidates are also required to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to the programme. Merely holding an INMO Certificate of Merit from Homi Bhaba Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) or clearing any Math Olympiad organised by any other organisation will not suffice for waiver of written tests for selection to the programme.

The final selection of candidates for admission to the programme is based on performance in the two written tests (unless waived) as well as the interviews. The final list of candidates selected for admission is announced after completion of all the interviews.

All the Best...!

What is the difference between bstat and bstat(hons)??

Avishek Dutta 18th Dec, 2019
Indian Statistical Institute provides B.Stat degree.
There is no  such thing called B.Stat (hons).
ISI provides this degree which is a 3yrs program for Statistics graduation.
Infact this is an integrated B.stat M.stat course of 5 years.
Also you can get admission in M.stat too.
And about honours course ,there are plenty of colleges where B.Sc (hons) in Statistics is provided.
Some of them are
Rkmrc narendrapur
St Xavier's College
Hindu College
BHU
