hi,

see there is post graduate diploma and mba course in business analytics. however you have to decide which course you want to do. pgdm course is of 1-2 years depends on the institute. mba course in data analytics is of 2 years duration. admission is based on entrance exams score like cat, xat, mat, cmat etc. now you may quit the current course and again prepare for competitive exam. some of the best college for mba in business analytics is,

which is better to choose between BSc in IT (data science) from MAKAUT and BSc in Data science from TIU? Which is more useful curriculum for future industry?

Aman Ghatiya 25th Aug, 2020

Hello Apu sarkar, Both the Universities are best for bsc and infastructure is also good but facilities are more in TIU like sports campus, wifi campus, and many more and they all are not in MAKAUT and placement is also good at TIU. So I personally preferred you to go for TIU.

Hope it will be helpful for you :)

I did MBA in marketing but I am not from technical background. Can I persue my career on IT business analyst job?

Pritam Singh 17th May, 2020

Hey there

Private companies do not care about your certificate but only your skills if you think you can acquire coding skills which I guess will be required for handling IT field then ofcourse you can. There is no official data for these from any company mostly it depends on your eagerness and performance in the company which lead you to your dream post.

Good luck

you are planning to appear for an interview in an interview for the position of business analyst in a firm. write out 10 question you expect to be asked in your answer to this question.

S. Saha Student Expert 16th May, 2020
The first and most common question asked in any interview in HR Round is that Tell About Yourself. Why should they hire you . Your strength and weakness. Your short term and long term goals. What do you see as the key strengths of a business analyst. They can give you situation where they will test your presence of mind like How will you be able to handle the changes to requirements? What makes you unique from others? If you have work experience i.e. you are not a fresher, they can ask you Why did you left your previous job. This is all about HR Round. For domain related queries, you have prepare exceptionally well. We don't authenticate third party websites so you can check website like Glassdoor etc.

what would worth to choose between - visva Bharati or presidency university kolkata Bsc statistics or kalyani university 5 year Msc statistics or MAKAUT (WBUT) university haringhata for Bsc data science according to faculty, academics, placements?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 25th Apr, 2020

hi,

see from job prospect and career opportunities , presidency and kalyani university is best among the colleges you have mentioned. however in data science related work a master degree is necessary as far industry standards, also you may appear in ssc cgl statistical officer exams, so my preference go for kalyani university 5 years integrated msc in statistics course.
