Business Analyst
Hello Asif
Beginning business analysts need to have either a strong business background or extensive IT knowledge. With that, you can start to work as a business analyst with job responsibilities that include collecting, analyzing, communicating and documenting requirements, user-testing and so on. Entry-level jobs may include industry/domain expert, developer, and/or quality assurance. Within a few years you could choose to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME). This is the time to delve into the areas that interest you most and develop those areas that can help you progress into higher management positions
Your BTech with CSE will work as an upper hand in your case as you already have the IT skills required. Many employers hiring for senior analyst or consultant positions, or looking to promote within the organization, look for candidates who hold master's degrees in business administration (MBAs) or other relevant business fields. It's not uncommon for junior analysts to return to school for master's degrees after several years of experience working in the field. However, a master's degree is not generally an absolute requirement for advancement. Sufficient work experience, specialized knowledge and a record of high performance may suffice for a job candidate who does not hold a master's degree.
Thank You
There are two types of certifications available to Business Analysts: Industry credentials from IIBA and PMI, which are primarily knowledge-based, and Academic Certification, which is a blend of skills training and theory.
Business Analyst is a promising career compared to rest of the other jobs in the market for beginners. You should go ahead in this field. Some of the profiles you can get into BA are:
1. Consultants
2. Account Manager
3. Product Manager
and there are more.
Good luck.
