hii i am doing BVOC Opteration Theater technology in. indian paramedical institute in nagpur the unversity is lingayas vidhypeeth this university is approved for maharashtra government counselling register. and i can also get apply for govermwnt job

Anuska Bakuly 21st Jan, 2025

Hello Tejasvini,

Lingayas Vidhyapeeth University is recognized by the Maharashtra Government for various courses, including the BVoc in Operation Theater Technology. If your university is affiliated with this institution, your course should be valid for registration in Maharashtra Government Counselling, depending on its recognition by the Maharashtra State Paramedical Council or other relevant regulatory bodies. Government jobs in healthcare, particularly in technical areas like Operation Theater Technology, are typically accessible through state-level recruitment processes or central government job portals such as UPSC or NSSCD (National Skill Standards Certification Development).

It's advisable to confirm the specific recognition of the BVoc course with the Maharashtra government or check the university’s official website to ensure eligibility for state counselling or government jobs. The approval or recognition status for state jobs can differ, so it's crucial to verify this information directly with the appropriate authorities.

Recently I completed my graduation in radiology technician and degree has name bachelor of vocational ( Bvoc) . so i decided to do master in nuclear medicine technology (Msc). which colleges that I will get chance to do Msc?

Samprikta Mondal 20th Nov, 2024

You will have to check the eligibility criteria of different colleges offering M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Straight entry opportunities exist for a B.Sc. in Radiotherapy and Radiology, but not necessarily all M.Sc. courses with a B.Voc. in Radiology Technology.

Here are some options:

1. Direct Admission:

Contact Colleges: Contact colleges offering M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology and ask for eligibility through a B.Voc. Many colleges may consider your practical exposure and marks.

Entrance Exams: A diploma candidate can opt for entrance exams like GATE or any entrance exam of the college/university. A good score will boost possibilities to get admissions.

2. Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology:

Consider diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology. This can bridge the gap between the B.Voc. and M.Sc. requirements.

3. Research and Networking:

Stay informed about admissions as well as the latest information about eligibility criteria.

Network with professionals who can give good insights as well as guidance.

Scouting research or internship opportunities to add value to your profile.

Here are some of the repute M.Sc. institutions in India offering Nuclear Medicine Technology:

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi

Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh

Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai

Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal

Always verify the eligibility criteria as well as the admission procedure of each college to which you plan to apply.

Am i eligible to take admission into IIT for Mtech after GATE if i have MBA (Distance) as my PG and Bvoc as my UG.

Kanishka kaushikii 7th Sep, 2024

Unfortunately, you are not eligible to pursue an MTech program at an IIT after completing an MBA (Distance) and a BVoc.

Here's why:

  • Eligibility Criteria: IITs typically require candidates to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (BTech/BE) from a recognized university. While BVoc is a vocational degree, it doesn't usually meet the engineering requirements for MTech admission.
  • MBA as a Prerequisite: While an MBA can be beneficial for career advancement, it's not generally considered a suitable prerequisite for an MTech program, which is focused on technical and engineering skills.

If you're interested in pursuing an MTech, you might consider:

  • Retaking a BTech or BE: If you have the time and resources, you could consider re-enrolling in an engineering program to obtain a BTech or BE degree.
  • Exploring Other Options: There are other graduate programs available, such as MS or M.Phil., that might be suitable based on your specific interests and qualifications.

It's always advisable to consult with the specific IITs you're interested in for their exact eligibility criteria and any potential exceptions. They can provide you with more tailored guidance based on your individual situation.

I hope this information helps you.

Hello , I have scored 66% in my HSC exam Arts stream , I want to take admission for bvoc media and communion, will I get admission with the score or should or should I wait for the 3 merit lists

Hridaya Rao 13th Sep, 2024
Hello there,
With 66% in your HSC exam, you may have a fair chance of getting admission to a B.Voc in Media and Communication, depending on the college's cutoffs and competition. It's advisable to apply and wait for the merit lists. If the first list doesnt work out, the second or third merit lists may give you a better chance, as cutoffs tend to drop slightly with each round. Make sure to have all required documents ready and consider applying to multiple colleges to increase your chances.

Hope it helps! Thankyou.

can i do ma in psychology after Bvoc in media and communication

Ishita 18th Jul, 2024

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria that every candidate must fulfill in order to be admitted to an MA Psychology program is to have Psychology in their Bachelor's course. Without this, you will be not eligible to fill out the form for MA Psychology.

Some Universities (selected few) do offer an MA in Psychology without asking for Psychology in your Bachelor's course, like IGNOU. The average fee for this program ranges from 10,000 to 50,000 per annum in good and reputed institutions. MA Psychology graduates are in demand in healthcare centers, private and government hospitals, and NGOs. Average starting package can be ecpeced to start from 3.5 LPA to 6 LPA.

Hope this helps
