B.V.Sc.
Indeed, you have opportunities to get a seat in BVSc. A position of 1700 - 1800 will guarantee you a seat for BVSc in General legitimacy. With a 94% in PCB, a score of 140+ is protected to get entrance into BVSc.
Since you have scored well in HSC and even KCET marks are fine, you might get a seat in BVSc.

Hi,
The cut-off for general category students is 50% whereas for other categories it is 45%. However, you need a good rank to secure a seat through KCET to a veterinary science course. According to previous years cut-offs, the rank for in-house students is closed around 1200.
So, If your rank comes less than 1200 there are high chances you can get your preferred course. If you don't get a seat in 1st round you can try for all the 3 rounds . It will be even more easier if you have Any kind of reservation. You can also check on college predictor- https://dqxeclau.top/kcet-college-predictor
Hopefully this will help you !
Thank you !
Hi candidate,
Both examinations are meant to admission into bvsc course. Ap eamcet examinatiin is a state level examination in which the candidates will get the admission in a particular state. NEET is an examination which is held on national level for admission into varius medical colleges across India.
So you can fill both examination forms for admission into veternary colleges in India.
Hope thsi answer will help you.
Revert incase of any query.
Thank you and very good luck:))
Hello aspirant,
NEET scores are applicable for admission in BVSc and AH courses only when a 15% All India Quota needs to be applied. For the remaining 85% quota, separate state entrance exams are conducted.
If we talk about the NEET scores and go by the previous year cut-off, a general/OBC category student needs 550+ marks, an SC candidate needs 450+ marks and ST candidates needs 370+ marks for admission. Hence, with a score of 185 or near, there are very dim chances of getting a government seat in veterinary college, even if you have reservation.
Other state entrance exams include JCECE for Jharkhand, RPVT for Rajasthan, KEAM for Kerala, KCET for Karnataka, WBJEE for West Bengal
Hope it helps!
Looking at the previous year NEET Cutoff for Bvsc, you have decent chances of getting Bvsc Through the NEET marks. The required marks for getting seat in Bvsc is around 400-450+. And therefore, you have some chances of getting bvsc through NEET exam.
However, you may not get bvsc through OUAT.
OUAT i.e Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology conducts its own entrance examination and the admissions into various courses are done through the OUAT counselling process.
So, there is no any chance of getting a veterinary seat from this university on the basis of your NEET score.
further, please note that the above mentioned prediction of NEET results may vary this year as the NEET Cutoff keeps varying every year. The NEET cutoff depends on various factors like Difficulty level of the paper, previous year Cutoff trends, number of aspirants appearing, etc.

Hi there. In response to your question the candidate should really try to make the above judgement based on the preference and the type of skills he/she wants to inculcate. Going through the course structure mentioned on the official website, enough information can be found regarding the same and a choice can be made looking at the future prospects and whether the academic structure appeals or not.
Hope this answer helps; best wishes
