To become a Car designer, the basic eligibility is to have 50% aggregate marks in 10th and 12th Maths, Physics and Chemistry .  So, for a student of Commerce background, it may not be possible to enter into designing industry as soon as you complete your schoolings.  Because you are required to understand a lot of physics concepts which are taught during Secondary school to successfully design a car.  So, you will be required to pursue Engineering which may not be possible for a student of Commerce.  Instead, by successful completion of workshops related to CAD and designing related stuffs you could enter into the designing section.

You are required to qualify one of the entrance examinations which are mentioned below for becoming a car designer student:

2. Undergraduate common entrance examination for design
3. Symbiosis entrance exam for design
4. Pearl Academy entrance exam

After qualifying one of the entrance examinations you will get admission in bachelor's degree. You can apply for Bachelor of Designing in industrial design. After completing your under graduation course you can apply for various job opportunities in different areas:

I want to inform you that automobile Design is a highly technical field and require 10 + 2 education in Science stream because it demands a high understanding of physics and also chemistry and mathematics play a key role.

so the official answer to your question is no you can't pursue automobile Design with Commerce as you 10+2 , but you can go for multiple graphic design courses using CAD softwares which might Open a gate for you to get into the automobile Designing industry.
