want to pursue a career in physics

shivamtrivedi0005 8th Oct, 2023

Hello aspirant,

Physics is the branch of science that focuses on how different substances interact with one another and the physical structure of matter, which can be either living or non-living. Physics covers a wide range of topics, including the study of much larger machines like vehicles and trucks as well as very small particles (quantum and atomic physics).

Discovering how the universe functions and behaves is the major objective of physics studies. Students who wish to study physics as a profession choose for the Bachelor of Science in Physics (B.Sc. Physics) degree. It takes three years to complete and includes specialized Physics coursework.

Hello, I want to persuade my career in BA English honours and I am also an Arts student. Will I be elegible in CUET if I choose 2 domains ( Political Science and History) 1 language ( English) and General Test. Will I be elegible for English honours by those domains ?

Shrutika Wahane 16th Jul, 2024

Hello there,

If you are opting for BA. Hons English and you have an arts background, then you do not have to give General Test. Your criteria for the exam would be 3 domain subjects and 1 language.

General Test are for the students of commerce or science background. And you must choose at least 3 domains, signed for 2 domains is not the criteria.

Hope this information will help you.

Hello, I am an CUET aspirant of CUET 2024. Actually I want to persuade my career in B.A English honours and I am also an Arts student. Will I be elegible for English honours If I choose only 2 domains ( Political Science and History) and 1 language ( English) and General test in CUET.

Hello Aspirant
The eligibility criteria for taking admission in BA English course is that the candidate must have passed their 12th Board exams from a UGC-RECOGNISED school and Board of Examination. The aggregate demand depends on the institution but it's usually 55%-60%.
There is no requirement of subjects, you can opt for BA English even if you are from the Science stream. They just need you to have English as one of the subjects in your 12th, and even if you didn't, it's not a problem. The stream of Arts and Humanities is open for students from all fields of study. Don't worry, you are eligible to apply for CUET UG English.

All the best!
