career
Hello,
See CLAT is conducted at national level, and its scores are accepted by various NLUs, and other government/private colleges, however you should know that there are other entrance exams as well such as AILET, CUET UG which was earlier known as CUCET, PU BALLB, LSAT etc, so there are other options as well for BA-LLB, you haven't mentioned if you have already passed 12th, and missed CLAT this year or couldn't qualify the same, you could have easily filled other entrance tests form as well, nonetheless integrated law courses come in various forms such as BA-LLB, BCom-LLB, BBA-LLB, BSc-LLB, BCA-LLB etc, these are basically amalgamation of the syllabus of law with other disciplines such as art, commerce, management, science, computer application respectively, say for instance you're interested to explore the corporate world then you may opt for BBA-LLB or BCom-LLB, the syllabus would be more aligned for your future goals professionally, other than this the working opportunities for any law graduate remains the same such as appearing for judiciary exams, upsc, state pscs, ssc cgl/cpo, banking/insurance exams, railways recruitments for graduates, there are also specialist posts in banking sectors for law graduates which you can apply etc, now is it worthy or not for a science student to drop a year for clat depends upon various factors such as which colleges in specific are you targeting, if it's only NLUs then CLAT is the only option however as I mentioned there are other good colleges as well and moreover other law entrance exams also, if you wish to explore a career in law then it would have been more useful to apply for other exams as well, you have to ask yourself this questions, "how strong is your desire to pursue law as a career", the answer lies in your question, if you want to opt for courses in science stream, go ahead and do the same, however if you're aiming for a career in law, then apply for more than one exam, and keep possibilities open for admission in colleges/institutions beyond NLUs.

To be very honest if you have got 16k rank in jee mains let me tell you that it's not possible for you to get a cse branch in any of the NITs/IIITs so let me tell you that you should rather go for a private college like BITs Pilani, VIT vellore, SRM University, Manipal University.
6k rank is too good in eamcet .you can get in jntuh but that depends on the stream you gonna choose.
And your category also plays an important role.
You can always keep your heads up if you are looking for JNTU.If you have a qouta like OBC and SC/ST,then your chances are getting even higher to get an admission into that college.
hope this is helpful for you
all the very best for your upcoming future
No professional path is superior. Everything depends on your desire and willingness to put in more effort, if necessary.
What matters is what interests you.
It takes patience, money, and the ability to put up with professorial teasing to earn a PhD in biotechnology . Be ready to accept modest pay, lecturer positions, or positions as research fellows. Life is certain, and the more you learn, the more others respect and appreciate you.
On the other hand, computer science is a promising field for businessmen. If you know how to code, you will succeed.
Good Luck!!
