iamlavishamittal 10th Jul, 2022

Hello dear,

Hope you are doing well.

The difference between ITI and graduation is that ITI is a diploma program while graduation is a degree program, and degrees have greater worth than diplomas. You can also take a diploma program concurrently with your graduation. Both programs are excellent in their fields.

My class 12 board exams ended on 7 June. I am confused what career path should choose between robotics and mechatronics. Another option is I can leave both the options and pursue onto a commercial pilot. Cananybody suggest me a good option. I also wanted to know difference between robotics and mech.

Garima Bisht 6th Jul, 2022

Hey.

At first I want to say to you is that choosing a career path is totally on you. You should go for your interest .

And now coming to your second question . We can't differentiate between mechatronics and robotics as robotics is subset of mechatronics . Both of them include mechanical, electrical, and computer science but mechatronics is a broader category . Mechatronics give you platform for Robotics but for getting good grasp of robotics you have to deep dive with your own way. If you want to work in the field of designing and developing autonomous machines then you can go for mechatronics.

Hope this answer will help you.

Have bright future ahead.

I want to do career in UPSC but family wants me to do in teaching line. But I am not interested in teaching and upsc always interest me. Husband wanted me to first get settled in teaching then do Upsc. What will I do?

pdwords Student Expert 7th Jul, 2022

Hello,

If you're not at interested in teaching and want to appear for UPSC only then you should follow the same path, there is no other way than convincing your family about the same, I can understand that their concern is about your future professionally, see UPSC is quite competitive exam, and each year there are humongous number of candidates appearing, so you're not just competing with people who have just graduated but even those who are already graduated and  appearing for final attempt, so it's good to have a back up plan in this regard, hence probably they are thinking teaching would be more suited, if you're only focused on UPSC and nothing else, then you have to make your family understand your point of view, other than this if you're not interested in teaching, and want to have another career, then you can consider that as well your alternative option, you need to have a thorough discussion with your family regarding this. make them understand your viewpoint.
