Hello There ,

Each branch has it's own merits and de-merits . Some of the subjects which you get to learn include , mass balance , instrumentation , chemical process calculations , advanced statistics , data analytics (to some extent) , introductory , spark , hadoop etc for process management etc .

So it depends whether you like these topics and have interest to learn them , and there are many other fields also within the branch in which you can also continue your research if , you wish to go for MS/PhD .

Some of the best colleges for chemical engineering -

1) old IIT's

2) Indian Institute of Petroleum and energy (iipe)
