There are many career options in BBA. Firstly, if you want to pursue higher studies then you can study MBA. It will just enhance your level of recruitment. If you don't want to do MBA then you might become an entrepreneur or start any business. You can also prepare for some government jobs like SSC, UPSC. You can become a teacher, event manager, finance manager.

see you may go for phd course in Indian university or in abroad university after completing m.tech course in mechanical engineering or relevant discipline. now phd course is research oriented work and takes to complete in 3 to 4 years.
however there is several career options is available like teaching, research engineer, scientist position in reputed government / private organization. the placement is depends on the institute from where you may do your phd.
