career options
hi,
see the important and necessary attitude to pursue any course is, you must have the strong interest for it, since a graduation course is longer duration than a school board exam , also you have to learn the subjects and other related course with it in three years , so you must be selective while choosing a bachelors course.
the eligibility criteria for bsc in geography is , Aspiring candidates should have passed 10+2 course in any discipline from a recognized education board.
generally admission is based on 12th score merit, however some of the university has own entrance test.
different career scope after bsc in geography is as follows,
surveyor
Cartographer
Climate Change Analyst
Climatologist
Emergency Management Specialist
Geomorphologist
GIS specialist
Location analyst
Meteorologist
Pollution control Analyst
Remote Sensing Analyst
Dear Aspirant,
Both of these courses are almost equal and comparable. Both have almost same starting salaries, same initial career graphs. However, in B.Pharma side you might not get a good growth after your graduation, but in BSc agriculture side there are a large number of higher studies paths open for you.
If you are getting BSc in a good college then go BSc Agriculture, and vice versa for bpharma.
If both the colleges are at the same level, then see for the placements and then chose the college.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Here are some of the options you can look for if you are a Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics student and do not want to do engineering:-
BSc computer science
Bsc IT
B Arch
B Planning .
Integrated MSc
BCA
Defence ( Navy, Army, Air force)
BSc. Degree
BDes
It depends on your interersts and where you would want to see yourself in the future.
If you wish to see yourself as a teacher/lecturer, you may go for that. For top universities you will have to finish a Phd. You may also comduct research whilst teaching.
Otherwise you may work at firms just for reaserch. You also have options in management if you do an MBA.
To be honest with you, LLB alone cannot get you a teaching job. Even if it is an Integrated Law course, you will still need LLM or Ph.D to teach in Law Schools and atleast a B.Ed if you want to teach in Schools. Now B.Ed is a Professional course that one can pursue after Graduation to take up Teaching as a profession. You can teach in Schools after your B.Ed.
hey,
its okay not to go for medical or engineering even after completing your 10+2 with science stream , there are still numerous options open for you like you can go graphic designing, BBA , B.Sc in any stream , you can also prepare yourself for government exam like UPSC,PSC,SSC etc (all the you can pursue even after your graduation), if you would to go in teaching profession then you can go for B.ed also.
apart of this there are still are lot of option , kindly find your interest and choose your course accordingly
good luck!
