Hello Aspirant,
CBSE provides application number for both type of students, private as well as regular so the regular students have to collect the hard copy of their admit cards from their respective schools but private candidates get an application number from which they can download their admit card by themselves.
Application number is not mentioned on CBSE Admit card instead it is mailed to the schools and private candidates for downloading admit cards.

Hello,
While filling any application for government exam the prefixes are avoided and you should enter your details with initials and name. So, it won't be a problem if there is a prefix infront of your father's name in class 10 certificate and in rest of your certificates it is not present.
There are delay in in results due to this entire lockdown in country. And also there are cancellation in board exams due to this pandemic. The Board is expected to declare the CBSE Class 10 Board result 2020 in the second week of July 2020. You can see results online on cbse.nic.in. You should have your following details like your Roll number, Date of birth etc.

Sir,
It is totally up to your son, which subjects he wants to study. Admission in all the NITs and IITs is based on his rank in JEE MAINS( For NITs) and JEE ADVANCED (For IITs). And his branch or stream also depends upon his performance in the exam and the cut off .
Hope this will help.
ALL THE BEST.
You cannot change your Board in your 12th class. You need to study in the same board for both 11th and 12th. For example if you have studied your 11th in RBSE, you cannot change your Board to CBSE in your 12th. You either need to continue to study in RBSE or start 11th and 12th again from CBSE.
