I m in 12th cbse commerce stream in my external exam I score 19 marks out of 20 how if I score 20 in my boards final will I be pass?

satyamercedes0626 7th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Hope you are doing great,

Coming to your question, do not consider how many marks you have scored in your internal exam. Try to score half of the maximum marks in the external exam conducted by the Board. If you manage to score more than half of the marks in the external exam, then you will be able to pass the exam.

Hope this helps!!

Can i get admission into class 11 cbse at the age of 15 on 1st April 2024 (right now I am 14 before 1st April 2024)

Shivanshu 5th Feb, 2024

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing good ! Here your age will not be a factor for taking the admission in class 11th . You just need to pass your class 10 everywhere. In cbse, The candidate should have passed the class 10th/Secondary School examination conducted by CBSE . Candidates who have passed an equivalent examination administered by some other recognised board or Indian University are also eligible..

Hope you get it !

Thanking you !

Does in 12th gujarat board examination of commerce calculators are allow to use ? If yes, than why not cbse allow ti use calculator for commerce student in 12th cbse examination.

satyamercedes0626 5th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Hope you are doing great.

Generally CBSE examination department will not allow to use calculators during exam in accountancy subject or in other commerce exam. Because according to the department accountancy exam is a very logical subject and hence there is no use of calculators.

Hope this helps!!

can i change my board in 10th . ? I switched to IB board in 9th but somehow cudnt understand their criteria so want to switch board in 10th again to CBSE. is it possible?

Sree 2nd Feb, 2024

It's possible to switch from IB to CBSE in 10th grade, but there are some factors to consider:

Feasibility:

  • School availability: Not all schools offer both IB and CBSE programs. You'll need to find a CBSE school willing to accept you mid-year and assess your existing 9th-grade IB learning to determine if you can join their 10th grade.
  • Academic alignment: The CBSE and IB curriculums differ significantly. Moving back to CBSE might require catching up on certain topics or adjusting to a different teaching style.
  • Admission process: Each school has its own admission process and deadlines. You'll need to inquire about their specific requirements and procedures.

can I get admission in cbse class 11th if I have gap of 4 years after 10th , since I dont want to appear from open school

Sajal Trivedi 2nd Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Yes, you can definitely appear in class 11th exam after having a gap of 4 years. There is not any upper age limit criteria in cbse for 11 th class. The basic eligibility is that you must have passed class 10th from a recognised board.

So you must start preparing for 11th exam as you are eligible for 11th class.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

I failed the entrance exam to 11th CBSE. But I passed my 10th board exam ICSE. What do I do next??

Tanya Gupta 8th Feb, 2024

Hello,

I understand your concern regarding the failure in entrance exam. If you have scored well in class 10th, you can continue with your current school as majority of syllabus is same for both the boards from class 11th onwards. If you still wish to opt for CBSE, I recommend you to connect with more schools who can offer admission on academic basis as there are a lot of schools who offer this kind of entrance else go for entrance exams because most of the class 11th entrance exams are based on basics and as you mentioned, you have scored well in class 10th, I'm sure it won't be a hassle.

Hope this helps,

Thank you

I scored well in 10th ICSE. But I failed to pass any entrance exam for 11th CBSE. What do I do?

Tanya Gupta 8th Feb, 2024

Hello,

I understand your frustration on failing to pass in any entrance exam for class 11th CBSE. However, I recommend you to continue with your current school, if you have not taken TC from there, and continue your class 11th from ISC board itself because it doesn't really matter which board you are in because majority of the syllabus is same class 11th onwards. In case you still wish to go for class 11th in CBSE board, I recommend you to connect with more schools who can offer admission based on academics or by giving more entrance exams.

Hope this helps,

Thank you
