A deemed university, is ‘deemed to be a university’ by the UGC under Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956. The declaration may be made by the Central Government on recommendation by the UGC. The admissions to all the programs offered by the university is done through the CUCET (Central University Common Entrance Test). Subsequently, the counseling is done either online or offline depending upon the decision taken at that time. The counselling schedule is notified on the university website.

On the part of lateral entry admission, you have to appear entrance exam which college accepts. It is not mandatory that all college will accept the exam you have appeared. and go for counselling process for lateral entry. You will get an admission on the basis of rank cutoff in lateral entry section and respective category.

Hyderabad Central University has no B.Sc courses. It has Integrated 5 years course. This means both B.Sc and M.Sc are taught in the same admission. These Integrated courses are 5 year courses and the eligibility is that you should complete your 10+2. The courses list is:

Yes , the central universities under cucet is good for pursuing BA courses.

The teaching faculty of the universities is good, infrastructure is also good.

Generally, there are 14 CUCET 2020 participating universities which are central universities.
