is mining engineering (dual degree) better than ceramic engineering in iit varanasi
Hii there,
Dear candidate, please think once what you want to do, what is your ultimate Goal. I you want to get a secured job after 4 years then you can go for Ceramic engineering B. Tech programme at IIT Varanasi. You can get an average package of 10 to 21 lacs at campus placement. But if you want to go for further studies like PHD then you might opt for Dual degree programme. I am attaching links for both.
Good luck!!
I am getting ceramic engineering in NIT, Raurkela and computer science engineering in Thapar institute of technology. Which one is better??
Computer science engineering at Thapar Institute of Technology, 7 days a week.I know an NIT tag has weightage but not when you do ceramic engineering. On the other hand Thapar is also one of the best college and offers great placement and if you are getting CSE branch then nothing is better than that because at the end its all about placement and a good job and you will get it at Thapar Institute of Technology with CSE.
I hope this helps.

ceramic engineering is rare course pls tell me and what is mean by ceramic engineering?
Dear aspirant,
There are many engineering colleges including IITs and NITs offer a degree in ceramic engineering. But outside NITs and IITs it is quite a rare branch. There are not that many reputed colleges except NITs and IITs ; that offer a degree for this branch.
So, you can say it's a quite rare branch. Yet it's job opportunities are quite a few as well. So, it still sometimes may get tough to get placed through here.
Hope you got your answer!
Hello, i m pursuing B Tech in ceramic engineering , how much marks and rank is required to get seat in IIT Banras???
Hello Akash Sharma
Last year the last closing rank of st category was around 510 which is too less than yours so you can't get admission there and I don't think that you can get admission into any iit.
So better you take a drop of a year and then again jee advanced if you will be focussed you will definitely get good iit.

Firstly talking about the scope, Ceramic Engineering is the one of the most important branch of engineering that deals with the creation of objects from inorganic & non-metallic materials. Those who aim to become a ceramic engineer must have an engineering degree in ceramic engineering. You can pursue Bachelors or Masters degree in ceramic engineering. This can be done after 12th science course (Maths, Physics, Chemistry).
