priyaankasarkar Student Expert 30th May, 2020

You can take up the Certified Financial Planner course even after your 12th. The duration of the courses is usually 6 months to 2 years. Ideally you need to be a Graduate to pursue this Certification but as mentioned the minimum education qualification that you should have is that you should have passed your 12th and should have enrolled in a Bachelor's programme. This process is called Regular Pathway. If you have a higher qualification like LLB, CA,CS, then you can study CFP through Challenge Status Pathway.
