Ive completed my graduation in b.com under calcutta university if I take admission under cu for LLB graduation itll take time for 5 years or 2 years ....then it will turn to degree of BA LLB or B.COM LLB ??????

kumardurgesh1802 20th Aug, 2024

Hello there,

If you've already completed your B.Com graduation under Calcutta University and you wish to pursue an LLB degree, it will typically take 3 years to complete the LLB course.

Key Points:

  • Duration : The LLB course for graduates is a 3-year program, not 5 years. The 5-year program is designed for students who join immediately after completing their higher secondary education (12th grade), which integrates a bachelor's degree with law (BA LLB, B.Com LLB, etc.).

  • Degree : Since you've already completed your B.Com, after completing the 3-year LLB course, you will earn a standalone LLB degree . It won't be labeled as BA LLB or B.Com LLB because those are integrated courses that combine a bachelor's degree with law.

In summary, for you, it will be a 3-year LLB program leading to an LLB degree.

i havent given jee mains exam can i get admission in chandigarh university for b arch

Nitin Kumar 6th Jun, 2024

No, appearing for JEE Mains or National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is mandatory for admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program at Chandigarh University.

The Council of Architecture (COA) is the apex body in India for regulating architectural education. They mandate that all students seeking admission to B.Arch programs must qualify in an aptitude test like JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch) or NATA.

Chandigarh University adheres to these COA regulations. Their website mentions that candidates must qualify in either of these exams for B.Arch admission.

As per your question, basically if you see from the three consecutive years, almost 12 lakh students will apply for the CUET exam, and out of which at least 5 to 7 lakh might apply for the BA LLB admissions. However, remember that this will vary from one year to the another.

Hope this helps!

I got 61 percentile in JEE MAIN 2024...so can i get admission in chandigarh university?

Devyani Prakash 13th Feb, 2024

The eligibility criteria for Chandigarh University for BE/B.Tech courses is class 12th with a minimum of 60% marks. So, irrespective of your percentile, you can get direct admission in Chandigarh University. However, Chandigarh University has its own entrance test CUCET which is mandatory to pursue BE CSE with the exception of JEE Mains students. The process for it is as follows:

  • Register on the official website of Chandigarh University admission portal and generate a user ID and password at the official website of CUCET for Chandigarh University B.Tech admission.

  • Next, for B.Tech at Chandigarh University admissions, candidates have to qualify for the CUCET exam.

I suggest that you can also give the second attempt of JEE, which will be held in April. The second session would provide you with an opportunity to prepare better, utilise these months in preparation, and it will give you scope for improvement, wherein you might end up scoring well and opening doors to different opportunities maybe even in government colleges.

If you need information regarding which other colleges you would be eligible for based on your marks and details, then you can refer to the Careers360 JEE Main College Predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

However, if you want to check your rank range based on your percentile, then you can refer to the Careers360 JEE Main Rank Predictor: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
