There are no state or federal mandates for chef certification, but certification can offer a competitive advantage when job hunting. However, Eligibility for BHM in Culinary. A 10+2 qualification with any set of subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is the minimum criterion of eligibility required to be fulfilled for an aspiring candidate to pursue the course.

The ACF awards many levels of chef certifications, including specialization certifications for pastry and personal chefs. Certification requirements vary by designation, but generally require a combination of education and experience, as well as completion of a written and practical examination. Recertification every five years is required to keep these credentials up-to-date.

    You can join the Indian Army as an officer without Maths background provided you have done a course in Hotel Management from a recognised University but it will be in the Officers Training Academy only. If you have Maths as a subject, you will have the option of joining the Indian Military Academy as well.
