do I need maths in bsc for becoming environmental chemist??

Hello aspirant,

In order to be an environmental chemist, candidates must have completed B.SC in Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry as the optional main subject and Mathematics as one of the subjects in subsidiary with a minimum aggregate of 55% or B.SC Industrial Chemistry/B.SC Chemistry & Industrial Chemistry. So, yes you've to need to learn Mathematics in B.SC so as to become an environmental chemist. So prepare accordingly and try to score more marks in any PG exam applicable for pursuing M.SC in Environmental Chemistry.

The starting salary for pharmacists working in the Government sector is 45,000/month and increases to 60,000/month after 2 years.

For pharmacists in private sector, the average salary is 15,000/month.

Job Opportunities to pursue after B.Sc Chemistry

Most of the industries nowadays use the chemicals in everything directly or indirectly like in food products, pharmaceuticals, electronic products or in construction. This creates opportunities for the talented chemistry graduates, since they have the in-depth knowledge about various chemicals, compositions and their properties. The government laboratories, universities or colleges and the industries, mainly chemical and pharmaceutical, are the three major sectors which recruit the chemistry graduates. For the entry level jobs in these fields, graduates need at least a bachelors degree in chemistry. But for the senior positions like in research, they need PhD in the same. Other career choices for them lie in the oil, gas and power sectors.

There are a lot of choices after completing B.sc In chemistry.

You Can do M.sc in chemistry, you can write JAM, Tifr exam for M.sc from institutions Like IIT, Tifr, IISc.After M.sc you can go for PhD degree in India or abroad.You can also write GRE or Toefl exam after bsc if you wish to study abroad.

there are several jobs after completing M.sc in chemistry like executive chemist in ONGC,Scientific officer in BARC and also some positions in DRDO.

Hi,

The minimum qualification to become a chemist is to have an undergraduate degree in chemistry, having a masters degree in chemistry is even better. Take science group in class 12, then take BSc science as your UG course. After BSc do MSc Chemistry and you will be able to do your career in the field of chemistry.

Hi,

To open a chemist shop one is required to have registered as pharmacist. For this you need to join pharmacy course. You can pursue bachelors in pharmacy or diploma in pharmacy for obtaining that.

B.phrama is a four years graduation course and D.pharma is a two years diploma course. As you main aim is to open chemist shop you can do D.pharm.

As your of 40 years  and done msc zoology  and done B.Ed and you wanted to start chemist shop and i think there is no need of any study and you should follow some rules and regulations and should have particular licences so you by following rules you can start the chemist shop and you can also go to teaching profession ypu have a chance to go into teaching profession also and all the best for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

Name of all psu which give job of chemist/scientist to msc (chemistry) student through or without gate score card? usally, when will they release application form?

The PSU's which give job of chemist/scientist to a student who has qualified GATE exam under Chemistry category are:

ONGC

IOCL (Ass. Officer quality control with min. 2 years of experience)

DRDO (Scientists Grade B)

BARC (Scientists Grade B)

Cabinet secretariat (Scientists)

MECL

Keep checking the websites of the respective PSU's as they will release the application form in next few months.
