Im in first year of BSC at dr br ambedkar university agra. After my first sem exam held in nov-dec 2024 , my practicals takes place. My first practical of chemistry was in 25 dec 2024 but due to personal reasons i could not attend practicals. Will i fail the whole chemistry subject even if Im passed in theory exam? Please anyone give answer Im too worried.
Hi Aman,
Since you missed the chemistry practical exam on December 25, 2024, it's important to check the university's specific policy regarding missed practical exams. In many universities, if you miss a practical exam, you might have the opportunity to attend a re-examination or make up for it in a subsequent exam.
It is unlikely that missing the practical would automatically lead to failure in the theory portion, as both are generally graded separately. However, if the practical component holds a significant weight in the final grade, it could affect your overall result.
I recommend contacting your department or the exam coordinator at Dr. BR Ambedkar University as soon as possible to inquire about:
- Whether there's an opportunity for a re-exam.
- How the missed practical will impact your final grades.
They will provide the most accurate guidance based on their rules.
Don't worry too much, All the best!

-
Visit the Institution’s Website : Look under the "Courses Offered" or "Postgraduate Programs" section to see if M.Sc. Chemistry is listed.
-
Contact the Institution : Call or email the admissions office to confirm the availability of the course and get details about the admission process.
-
Eligibility and Entrance : Check if the institution requires specific eligibility criteria (e.g., B.Sc. in Chemistry or related fields) or entrance exams for admission.
If you let me know the name of the college or university, I can help you check specifically!
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

i am a up domicile obc candidate my marks in 12th boards are 61 in chemistry and 64 in physics and 59 in mathematics am i eligible for getting admission in jadavpur university
Hello,
Eligibility for admission to Jadavpur University depends on various factors, including the specific course you’re applying for and its cut-off requirements. Generally, for undergraduate engineering courses, the following conditions apply:
- Minimum Marks : Jadavpur University often requires a minimum of 60% in aggregate in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering.
- Cut-off Ranks : Admission is also based on WBJEE or JEE Mains ranks.
- Category Quota : As an OBC candidate, you may have some relaxation in cut-off ranks compared to general category candidates.
- Subject Eligibility : Ensure that you meet the subject-specific requirements for the course you wish to apply for.
Hope it helps !
i am a up domicile obc candidate and my marks is 61 in chemistry and 64 in physics and 59 in mathematics can i get admission in jadavpur university
Assuming you wish to get into the B.Tech Program of Jadavpur University.
Unfortunately, with your marks of 61 in Chemistry, 64 in Physics, and 59 in Maths, it is less likely that you will be able to secure admission to Jadavpur University. The minimum cutoff for OBC candidates in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) for admission to Jadavpur University is typically much higher, often above 70 in each subject, a safe score would be 80 above in each subject though.
You can try to get admission through latent entry later in your second year for instance or you can try to go for other universities and colleges.
All the best!
Comparison between the level of physics and chemistry of wbjee and neet?
Hello,
The physics and chemistry sections of WBJEE and NEET differ in focus and complexity:
-
Physics :
- WBJEE : Includes topics with practical applications, with more emphasis on problem-solving and conceptual understanding. Focuses on topics like mechanics, electromagnetism, and modern physics.
- NEET : Primarily focuses on fundamental concepts and applications, with an emphasis on biological systems. Topics like mechanics, thermodynamics, and optics are tested.
-
Chemistry :
- WBJEE : Includes inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry with a mix of conceptual and practical questions. It often involves detailed calculations.
- NEET : Focuses on theoretical understanding, especially in organic chemistry and biological chemistry, with fewer calculation-heavy questions compared to WBJEE.
Hope it helps !

Hm college me aake form fill kr skte hai kya aur bsc nursing entrance exam me bio, chemistry,gk , nursing aptitude, current affairs hogi.Kya physics aur English nhi hogi kya. Aur kitne marks minimum hone chahiye exam me aur counseling me kya hota hai aur
Hi,
HM College, Manjeri, generally requires candidates to fill out an application form for admission. For B.Sc. Nursing entrance exams, the syllabus typically includes Biology, Chemistry, General Knowledge, Nursing Aptitude, and Current Affairs . Physics and English are usually not part of the entrance exam syllabus for B.Sc. Nursing
Regarding the minimum marks, it can vary depending on the specific entrance exam and institution. Generally, a good score in the 12th-grade exams (around 50% or higher) is required for eligibility.
As for the counseling process, after the entrance exam, candidates who qualify are usually called for a counseling session where they can choose their preferred college and course based on their rank and availability of seats
12 th class students who have grace marks in chemistry and supplementary exam clear with 67% who are eligible for neet counselling and admission
Hello,
Yes, 12th-class students who cleared a supplementary exam and secured 67% are eligible for NEET counseling and admission, provided they meet the required criteria. NEET eligibility requires a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology for the General category (40% for reserved categories). Grace marks or clearing supplementary exams does not disqualify a candidate as long as the overall percentage meets the required threshold. Candidates must also qualify for NEET by securing the minimum cutoff score. Ensure that your Class 12 marksheet reflects the final qualifying status before registering for NEET counseling.
